Which C do you have? I dont know if this is the same for all Cs but there is a gromit hole behind the back of the shelf thing under the glove box. There may be a leak there, My VR had a bit if a dribble comming through in that place where some Monkey had poked a wire through and not sealed it back up correctly. Also check you door cards and drain holes in the bottom of the doors and see if it is comming through the doors.

Sounds god. Look at the spark plugs, (you will need a special tool for this and it is worth wile getting if you are thinking of getting a C.) If 1 and 6 are dirty/covered in oil then it may be burning oil. this is not always a good sign. Plus is scares the crap out of the seller and they think you know alot about cars. It may be a good haggeling (sp?) point! Also check for road noises whern driving (gear box, bearing etc) VW engines go on for alot past 160k, there are people in the forum with 250k on their clocks!

I saw a P reg VR6 in bristol before christmas. I was so shocked i nearly crashed into it. The fact is it is not rare enough to be worth so much. What colour is you storm? I dont know the names of any of these wheels but if it is the blue one then maybe think about gold rims, i think gold wheels on a blue car look good (yes very Jap but they do!). If it is the green one, dragon something then maybe think about some large white 5 spoke rims. But what do I know. :brickwall:
