Lippy, does you other half drive and does she have a good NCB? If so have her as the policy holder and you as a named driver on your C, and on her car have you as the policy holder and her as a named driver. This is what be and the better half have done and it is not against the law. VR insurance is about £500 FC for us. This way you both keep you NCB and get to drive the cars you want.

Its can sometimes happen when the paint is not compleetly dried off/hardened/what ever it does in the oven, and the laquer is put on too soon. Something about the paint srinks and the laquer not. ( I was told this by someone that lies alot so it may not be true, please feel free to shoot me down if i am wrong)

I want to go soon. I used to like about 6miles away from the place, now it is closer to 156miles.

It is a bit of a sh1tta and i do feel for you mate but some people do take the car-plate thing a little too far. I saw some gimp in a MR2 with a front plate smaller than a bit of A5 paper and it was tucked under his crappy body kit! it does take the piss a little but i think you got a little bit fisted by the bloke! (What ever happen to a clip round the ear? where's my glasses??)

I know Nissan did it with a micra, think is was a 930 cc 8v 4 cylinder. It would do a 1/4 mile in about the same time as a VR!

Looking at a few web sites they talk about syncro and 4Motion, is there any differences between the two or is it just a way of making something the same or older sound newer? (Corrado 'Storm' for example)

I am starting to think about getting a more practical car, Im not going to get rid of the VR but it is going to need some work doing on it soon so a second car may be a must. I have always been taken with the Passat V6 syncro it come with loads of bells and whistles and they have come down in price alot. What do you think about them and how do they drive. I like the idea of the auto box with the tiptronic bit on the side, has anyone ever driven a box like that? There is now rush to answer this post as i still dont have a job and as such no money yet! Ta, PS Is the engine the same in the golf, both V6 and 20VT?

If you have to get a clio get the V6 my friend had one and it was just so fast it kicked arse. It had a crap turning circle and you could not get too many things in the back but who cares this was faster than most things out there and a few people where running them with superchargers! I have had a go in a Clio cup and it was ok but when there is more that ywo people in it faided away a little, colour wise go with black for the 182 and red with the V6

Pritty!!!!!! Phat is right, the car does needs wing mirrors but nice all the same. Most people turn up thier noses at Golfs with boots (Jetta, Vento, Bora) but i think they are sweet. Is it a MKI golf chinspoiler on the front? Keep up the good work.
