yes, you can always mark where the plate is before taking it off then when you put it back on you can get it somewhere near but i would definatly get the car re-aligned(spelling?) and tracked as soon as possible afterwards
-
which bolt are you on about?
-
i would advise a ball joint splitter, as it took me hours to get my out without one and i got a new plate + bolts with mine.

after i found out about my fuel gauge i have also found that after i have been for a drive when i switch off i get a strong smell of fuel near the fuel cap but if its been stud there is no smell. any idea's? thanks
-
found out today that my fuel gauge don't work properly as i came to a major junction and i was at the lights my fuel pump started to whine like hell and as i just got through the lights it cut out blocking all the traffic. my gauge was showing just above the red so i thought i had enough in, luckly a guy in a recovery truck was behind me and he towed me around the corner to safety (what a nice chap). never trust your fuel gauge
