something unpluged if it showing 0.0 i would have thought, have u checked back of clocks

right had a look in the mags and found the article in volkswagen driver. it says it could be due to a faulty speed/hall sender. the hall sender can be checked with a multimeter. one turn of the wheel should produce four voltage jumps from 0v to 5v. i hope this helps you

i can remember reading about this in a vw mag i will try and dig it out

I'm picking up a V6 30v B5 Passat later this week, however, I doubt I can charge it as its mounted inline and not transversley ('cos its a Synchro) so there's no room for the Supercharger :( Bit too tight in 'ere! v.interesting, so what kind of torque and bhp do these pump out??

been looking at loads of wheels to decide which rims to go for when i am ready to buy. i just wanted to see what other people prefer either deep dished like the borbet A or some flat faced ones like the azev A below . cheers scott

would it not be better to go down the 24v route , by the time you have paid for the engine pack and shipping cost's plus custom tax and then paid someone to take out your engine, strip it down then send it off to be rebored and then be put all back together you could have had the 24v bought and fitted for less. just my 2p worth

really nice looking car, you must be pleased, welcome

andy i had the same problem in the end i got a old socket and hammered it on then used a rachet to take off, its a bit hard due to space. khurrado i ad the same problem too, then alloy valve corrodes with the cap making it stick together, if you get two pairs of mole grips or pliers then grip the valve stem itself and the cap and turn in opposite directions. be sure not to grip the valve stem to hard as it can crush it.
