I hope it doesnt look like that, that just looks like any other coupe that comes out now with the exception of the lights.

I bought quite a few magazines before actually buying my Corrado, (I'm the type of guy that has to do a fair bit of research before spending a bit of money on something), and one of the magazines had an article that had the Corrado in direct comparison to the Calibra Turbo 4x4 and the Ford Escort Cosworth. Now that alone shows how good the Corrado is, it's getting compared to 4wd cars, but in the end the article said that Corrado still handled better than the Calibra 4x4.

I'm gonna totally agree with the description there. I have my own vid file, but with a K&N cone filter and standard exhaust, the sound is the same with a standard airbox just heavily muted. Lurvely!

That is absolutely class using it as a wedding car. All my friends laugh and joke that I'll probably use my Corrado as my wedding car... *ahem*

I would LOVE that new Scirroco IF it looks like that, but you know they'll be just as common as TTs, and thats one of the minor reasons I love the Corrado so much 'cos of it's relative rarity.

If you DID buy the GTI, what would you do with your Corrado? I know this is hypothetically speaking, but let's say you bought it tomorrow. Would you sell your Corrado? Would you keep both cars? Would you have the GTI for a little while and sell it on? And curiously, have you driven one yet? What do you think? My thinking on the matter is to upgrade/update only "necesary" parts (on the Corrado anyway). For example we all think the lights and the standard ride height, upgrade the brakes etc etc, but lookswise, it's absolutely spot-on IMHO.

That seems to be a "normal" VR6 with a Storm badge added onto it, they never came in that colour.

Firstly, just out of curiosity, are you really 86 ? Secondly, how much were the coilies? And what about handling? Have you had a chance to compare them to other setups? And no, I'm definitely NOT going to be lowering to 120mm, 40 at the most but your 50mm at the back seems to sit very nicely...

I take it those are Coilovers? How do you find them? I wonder why mines have VW caps then, hhmmm...
