  1. You go son!! Don't give in, power to you!!! :D
  2. Lol, I was speaking to one of the dental trainers that I know and he was saying he had to sell his Corrado Storm when his baby arrived but he went for a Subaru Turbo whatever it was... at least it's faster I said. But I can't really help you out on that problem, sorry.
  3. VR6 0-60 6.4  :D  I think EVO mag quote VR6 0-60 6.2 seconds 8)
  4. could it be this beaut spotted in aberdeen a wee while ago http://www.eastsidevw.co.uk/modules.php ... pic&t=2126 That's the culprit, the guy is loaded, but more money than sense. He has Nos and all sorts of other stuff on the car.... apparently spent close to £50k on/in it... And those are actually spinners on there in case anyone is wondering
  5. Is there an anti-corrado campaign or something happening right now? Sorry to hear about your car man, really feel for you.
  6. What is it with people and their Preludes? There is a guy in Dundee with a flip-paint job on it and 4 of the biggest exhausts you have ever seen in the center of the back, hideous, I'll have to get a picture and post it up here.
  7. The only reason I go slow now is because I havent managed to get high 20s MPG in a while, I have booted the loud pedal quite a lot recently, I can't help it.
  8. heathen!!!....next you'll be saying the mystic blue Storms are better than the classic green ones  :D :D :D :D :D Lol
  9. I think the Speedlines suit the Corrado more than the Solitudes that came with the Storm  But from the pictures I have seen, I have to admit the standard ride height really does look very silly
  10. Lol, I think the reason I cant really relate to what he is saying is because I havent seen a totally standard Corrado up close and personal, so really dont know the difference between a standard one and a non standard. Either way, I know Kev is a major C nut, lol, no doubt about that :) And boy am I glad you all are just as crazy as I am
  11. You are not a true Corrado lover.... be off with you!! :D
  12. Mostly around town mate, with a few back roads on the way home.
  13. ... it's too bloody addictive!!! I had a limit of around 6000miles a year (for insurance purposes along with other things), which mounts to around 100 miles a week (plus 800 "spare" miles), in the last 3 weeks I have already done 300 over the limit  Firstly, I'm still not working yet so can't really afford to keep running the car with around 200miles a week getting less than 20mpg (I cant help but put my foot down), and secondly, I spend waaayyyy too much time in the car, it just makes me feel so damn good, I don't want to get out of it, I dont want to stop driving it... Is it just me, or is it the "Corrado bug"?
  14. Ahh ok, a bit bigger than 2/3 then. I usually average around 21mpg in town :( The way I have been driving... I average around 18-19mpg, doesn't matter if around town or not, I just can't help it. I'm really slow at getting confident in new cars and I'm really getting used to the car now and can take it further towards the limit than I used to be able to and I can't help but take it fast around each bend or roundabout, I just have to put the foot down :( damn you seductive sound of a vr6, damn you seductive engine!!!
  15. I actually flashed to a G60 the other day, caught up to him and the guy in the rear seat looked back, said somethng to the driver, I seen him shift down and just floor it... that actually pissed me off. I thought, f*ck it, I wanted a chat or at least a friendly wave or whatever, if all you want is a race or something, then go yourself, I'm out. Stopped, turned around and carried on with my way.
  16. "rear left rear passenger seat squab" ? I'm sorry, I haven't a clue what this is and how I take it out
  17. Everytime I switch on the driver's side heated seat, I get a fairly loud buzzing (sounds like something vibrating) sound from the rear left panel, sounds like it's coming just behind the rear left card. What is it? It's frickin scary... :(
  18. I'm totally gutted for you mate, I really am. Just last night I had a friend in the passenger side who was drinking a can of Red Bull and he had the window open slightly, it was raining and once he had finished his can, I seen a wet patch on the inside of the car and I thought he had spilled some red bull on the door cards (stupid I know) but I went nuts just at that simple thing, turned out it was just rain. So I completely understand your anger, some good advice already given in this thread, not much more I can add to it. I would make sure they get what the deserve as long as I can be sure that it would make matters worse in relation to your car. Best of luck with that then.
  19. The stupid thing about not being able to operate both electric windows at the same time, I mean wtf is that about??
  20. Oh I was polite, I didnt want to chance it in getting them into a bad mood, I would never try it.
  21. The police in Tayside have a tendency to keep pulling you over once you have been caught for anything, so because I have been caught for speeding now, they will focus on me when they see me next time, has happened to a lot of people I know.
  22. Ooooohhhhhh, thanks for pointing that out, will take care next time. But yeh, when I do have the money I will be going for the much loved H&R / Koni combo, dont worry :)
  23. I don't blame them for pulling me for a 76 in a 50, that's their job, thats fine, but for weaving around, and it wasn't even that bad, and it was very clear I was avoiding the potholes, trust me, that patch of road has a lot of them and quite bad ones too, they were being dicks about it. But the 76 on 50, I can handle that, I was in the wrong. What I dont get is they were being dicks even after I said "I was avoiding the potholes", they were just being asses.
  24. So my insurance might not go up with the SP30 then? P.S. Edited first post...
