No need to take the chin spoiler off but the long bracket holding the bumper/ spoiler to the x member does need to come off. -

If you have the lip across top and bottom then they are fine. Just need to drill a few holes, Childs play.

This may sound silly but it's the level of adjustability that puts me off these, I'm worried that I'd feck it up. I have read v good things about v3s though.glwts

9 11 covers a lot of the surface area which is why I chose it. Chris l made same great brackets but I happ to know of some dg brackets (essentially the same) that are fs if you want them? I'll ask miles if they are available still if you like dude?
