you dont need that part of the dash out for matrix fix , you dont even need any of the dash out just lower trim. trust me i've fixed 4 and one was a VR6. :wink:

all i've heard through are dealer is that there IS a new scirocco lined up. VW have gone back with a few names that did well sales wise ie the new Jetta and the Scirocco was a much better seller and known name than the Corrado so one of the reasons they bought it back. its like when people call your rado a scirocco its cause they obv know the rocco brand and not the rado. Dosent bother me would rather they never ever re-incarnate the Rado leave it have its own piece of history.

my heater matrix pipe that runs from near the oil cooler right under the distributer was leaking on mine, was a bit of a pain to find but found it in the end

mine is usually around 75-85 in winter on motorway/duals then 90 ish in traffic in hot weather about 85-96 on motorways then no higher than 102 in traffic, thats oil temp coolant is never more than 90 in any weather.

i had a dodgy gsf expansion tank with dodgy probe in my c and light kept coming on got a new vag one and no problem since.

think its some guy who buys them and does them up a touch and flogs them for £2k more than he paid, heard hes a decent bloke though. Sometime see him bidding on the bay for Corrado's himself.

Pd is £30-35 odd and PD longlife stuff is touching £60 ish i think now including vat

pointless fact, all are oil has gone up lately Quantam pd is like £38 for 5litres. GSF bought the last batch off us at old price so they must have had a spy on the lookout. VW do recommend Castrol oil as well, all the fleet cars used to have a service pouch with them which had Castrol and not Synta.

got it sorted still £393 deposit then £74 a month saving of £50 a month and saving of £300 on deposit

ah so i can sort of agree a payment policy with them?

had renewal quote and bits today, happy with quote £1124 , thats a drop of about £600 8) on renewal though said to setup i had to pay deposit of £400 odd and then 3 monthly instalements at £230 ish , was thinking wtf. i thought deposit was basically when joining up to insurance compnay after that just a case of altering montlhy premiums? anyone shed some light?

just put a new engine in it, my Rado had ago at testing my patience engine wise.in the end cost of repairs and parts wasnt worth it ,so just got 2 engines for the measly sum of £60 off ebay. put together the strongest and banged it in, trouble free motoring since.All completed within in 13hrs and yes i was knackered afterwards.lol

how much do you charge to do this one other peeples cars? :D

i've driven an mk5 and the only thing i liked about it was the fact it was using someone else fuel and my Corrado would still be clean when i got back to it. Would rather have a rare Rado, just the stance and uniqueness of them does it for me. like when ppl say i have a Clio 182 ,ok so it might have 182 bhp and be fast but its still a clio.

the inside on one is all yellowy, a few time i 've had to have full beam, fogs,torch, candle and still not much to shout about.

when clarkson capsized was creasing

failed MOT today on numberplate bulbs being out, emissions and headlights being so crap there not putting out enough light to pass. :D new they were crap on Rado's but to fail mot is going some. MOT was free and so is first retest, Bulbs only £1 and emissions can be altered on metering head, was only 0.5% over.tester fiddled test to get drivers lamp through and just gonna borrows mates vr lamp for re-test and swap back over to crap light after till i pick some others up.lined up a set for £50 +postage off a VR6 Storm and later lights are better anyway so my rado is 'roadworthy' for her majestys roads for another year. 8)

bought a wry smile when i found out that the dealership where mine was from was given a Campaign to sell. 8) Anyone know how many VR's made it on P plate registrations?

30/11/90 for my valver, Dovercourt St Johns Wood Mayfair. some Dr guy bought it, makes a change from usual drug dealers though techinically a doctor deal drugs.
