i had a look at my airbox today and the 6 nuts that hold the fuely/metering head onto the airbox were all loose. :? and the airbox was covered in cack. the splitter also had a stain on it where i presume fuel had leaked down and onto it.

-

-
think the headlight might be a failure depending on how bad the crack is, theres a set of fogs on fleabay at the mo although dont think there to expensive from GSF.

at a guess Mr PBSTORM behind me on the link road then M4 tonight, did flash my rear fogs when you flashed but forgot to put my sidelights on  nice to see a Storm in the flesh 8) -
same for this Rado.
-
nice car , 8) same colour as mine too. would lower it though, i dropped mine only 30 but makes a big difference and if the road is cack that im on i just drop the speed abit to make it smoother.

How long have you had your corrado?
cymru-corrado replied to bigpants baby's topic in General Car Chat
10months, had new engine ,3 blown heater matrix's,rear calipers die, countless cooling probs (which might be back), yet she still sits there with puppy dog eyes draining me of more money. -
so if the fan turns on when putting the wire on the rocker cover everything is working as it should, yes?
-
got round to changing my thermo switch today as the original broke when i changed the engine, just wondering what does it actually do though? as it wasnt on the car for about 2 weeks and hasnt affected anything. nb. this isnt the thermostat its a 1 pin thing that screws into a little tab at the front of the rocker cover and then a wire from the airbox side of the engine bay has a little clip that goes on the pin. part number 191 919 521D

my mate gave me a hand with my rears, did the whole lot, calipers, disks, bearings, pads, used a something like a 27mm socket to press bearings in.
-
check the tension on the belt mine was doing similar after changing the alternator belt as i forgot to re-tension the pas belt too, couple of turns on the tension bolt and all fine. as dr-mat said the belt will only slip when almost standing still trying to turn which is what mine did, when the car was moving it would steer fine.

i've got a pipercross on my 16v with the airbox drilled and all seems to be ok, previousaly had a K&N in it without drilled box so dont know if there is any sound difference between them, but again ran ok.
-
got my valver off the bay, though turned out was a guy i had known for about 5 years selling it, stroke of luck. plus he bummed all the other bidders off so i could have it for £1200. :D where would we be without mates eh?
