There was a detailed article on the exact differences floating about... :study:
-
Ah that is a classic that I always forget to do...
-
How come it's white now and red before? Are you going back to white?
-
Looks more like a car to me.. ;) Looking good mate! :)

Went to Oulton park today, Shots of Corrado in the VW cup

Looks like a good day out to me, F3 race looks cool - wish I was a little more local. :( -
Yep very gratefull for all opinions :)
-
Yeh that is a sad picture, just looks like one severely miffed Corrado... :(
-
LOL - should have done a search it seems! Judging by the number of us who now have girlfriends/wives that want one maybe it's time to rename the forum.... 'Corrado & Figaro Forum' anyone?! Agree entirely with Jim's point, my gf isn't interested in performance she just wants some thing fairly reliable with a bit of characer and individuality. Jim my missus currently drives a Ford Ka as well... err... are they the same person?! :)
-
Yes a Max power'd one really would be a sight to behold.. She's going to have a drive of my C to see what it's like (quite different from her current Ford Ka will be the answer I think!). Man it would be cool if she decides she wants a valver! PMSL at your description gaz! Thanks for the dealership loaction Musicman, we wont be looking to buy for a few months and the whole import thing looks like a good idea (cheaper, known history etc.) and that'll take a month or two i'd imagine.... definately need to drive a couple before making any decisions..! scarlett, thanks for a female opinion! I know it's based on a Micra but you'd hardly guess would you!? I'm starting to like it quite a bit actually, still rather she got a C though! :)
-
Blimmin 'eck, looks like posting here was a good idea! I'll speak to Laura and get back to you Campbell0240, thanks a lot. :)
-
Bizarely I think this happened to me the other day. Hasn't happened since so I thought I imagined it but it was exactly as you describe...
-
Thanks for all the comments & links guys muchos appreciated. :thumbleft:
-
Yeh she does just want something to tootle around in and really isn't concerned with performance as such. Really she just wants to put a long scalf on and the roof down then drive from village to village with oversized sunglasses on! double-6s, bad fashion statement if you're a bloke maybe but can't you see why girls are attracted to them?
-
LOL Good plan Dave, might give that a go! She's never had a go before...
-
Wow, really dividing opinion on this one! Thanks Blue_Joe! By the looks of things they are expensive because they are rare, less than 1000 imported....
-
Cheers for that article Rodders, just what I was looking for! Pretty much what I was thinking, just wondering if his assessment comes from looking at one picture or actually driving the car. Pickard1, totally agree mate.
-
PhatVR6, have you driven one then?
-
Thanks for the replies guys. I did read somewhere they are all autos Rodders, 3 speed I believe so they ain't gonna be breaking any records! Pickard1, didn't get a chance to say hello to your missus, was she at the RR? Good tips mate we'll have a look out for that stuff. I also read about the whole import thing making it hard to track its early history etc. Pink is cool but I think she wants a beige one.
-
Ok, borderline Off Topic I know but it is still a car! My girlfriend has decided she wants one of these... Done a little bit of research and I gather they were made in the early 90s and are based on a Mk1 Micra. They pretty much all seem to come with electric windows, aircon, leather seats, cd etc. Look nice and quaint, all the looks of a 50s speeder but modern stuff thrown in. The only come in 1litre turbo flavour kicking out around 75bhp. So what do you guys think? I know nothing about Nissans at all apart from I learnt to drive in a micra and it was ok. Anyone know anything about this model of car? I gather they are fairly popular with celebs etc. Any advice appreciated. :) I know it's a bit gimicky etc. but it's what she wants, just want to make sure it wont be a nightmare!

Well maybe your rear is set to low and is making the front look high, got a pic? Other option is fitting spring lowering caps to the front which will drop you another 10-15mm.
-
Are the dampners red or yellow? As Supercharged says middle clip on the rear for even height should be right. If the kit is new it probably will drop a little more but we're talking 5-10mm...
-
Good luck dude, it's nice to set yourself challenges in life! :)
-
Thanks guys, really feel like i'm getting there with the car now! Feels so much more 'sorted' after the OBD2. :) I want to sort out my brakes next but am probably going to wait until i've got NickVR6's speedlines new wheels first so I can fit 312mm discs. ;)
-
Fronts aren't height adjustable. Only the rears using the notches you describe.
-
Ok here's a nice shot of my engine bay with the OBD2 manifold which I spent hours polishing a few months ago..! I've taken off the plastic engine cover, yet to find out what difference this will make to the noise of the engine - i'm thinking about painting it black and putting it back on though. Also a pic of what it looked like before so you can appreciate the difference!
