AX1.1's are REALLY low insurance group as well. Like '1' or something.

Well the one I drove wasn't. Completely agree with the turning circle comment as well, they really were a nightmare for that. The only way I can see the 205 being faster around bends than the VR is when 205 drivers couldn't give crap about whether their car survives a high speed corner or not and give it everything it's got. I have mate who still owns his 1.6 GTI and he fully admits that my car is faster under any conditions.

I'm slowly turning my Mrs into a rado lover. She was jealous to begin with but she loves sitting in the passenger seat now. Haven't let her drive it yet though...

When the council put up speed humps in my town they were forced to lower them after a year because so many people claimed that they were knackering their wheels/suspension. Until then though they were paying out money...

3k including the lump is a complete bargain. Making me think twice about OBD2 now when I could judt buy a new engine! :)

Particularly bad in that you weren't doing anything wrong. When someone jumps a red light and smacks into you there's nothing you can do about it & it could have been any of us. Are you injured at all? Looks like your side has taken quite a bashing. :(

Gotta disagree :) Having driven both around the twistiest roads Cornwall can provide the C would withoud doubt annihilate a 205GTI. Those GTI's are nippy little go-karts but a VR6 or G60 would thrash it, dunno about valvers but i'd imagine they would out handle a pug if set up correctly. I remember a few years ago when my mate leant me his 1.9GTI, it was a lot of fun thrashing it round but when I first drove my Corrado round some bendy lanes it was faster and more effortless. :)

Do you mean if someone is trying to open the door when it's unlocking then it wont open? That happens to pretty much all cars doesn't it...

Yesterday I went over every bit of black plastic in sight (exterior) with black shoe polish. Takes away the faded look..
