But... you are not running it on a std engine, so you can't judge. But if you want to be placated, I agree, don't run it un-mapped on a modified VR6.

Dunno, doubt it, I'd use carb cleaner. Some people leave it soaking in petrol.

Did they use the right plugs and leads (ie not cheapo ones) and are the leads sat right?

Can anyone confirm that the corrado is the Positive Trigger Mech?

Make sure you give both a clean, they are notorious for getting clogged.

Aye, just spray liberally inside, I only left for 5 mins, but I'm impatient like that! Put some WD40 on before you put back in.

You can remove the whole pot, but you'll need to fabricate a pipe to bypass it

No, it's the ISV damper, you can remove the foam as it can come loose and block the pipe. The ISV is the metal bit that that is attached to by a pipe.
