Stick with the rechip. You need to spend £1500 on top of a £500 265bhp chip to get 280bhp which is the maximum the turbo can physically flow.

more like £3500 for 300+bhp.

Probably not but its not completely out of the question as the paint and engine will be done. Theres alot of detailing work to do, after that tho'.

Not making a great deal of progress. My friend who's doing the VRT conversion is very busy at the moment and the deal is he'd build up the engine when things go quiet. It will be worth the wait, promise.

theres two bolts under the scuttle. Stick your hand under and you find them. HTH -
I've just bought a Porter Cable after being shown the ropes by L200 Steve on detailing world. Highly recommend spending a day with a pro to learn the little tips and tricks.

Just really busy at work at the moment, doing 7 days a week so its really hampering me. The car is going over to a friends in the next few weeks so the engine can be stripped down and its booked in with Jason Buckley for the bay smoothing in june.

obviously traumatized by having a desireable car stolen he's got in complete the opposite direction. You can leave a V******l on the drive running and it will still be there the next day apparently. :lol:

The stuff i use on my tyres is High-style and the inner arches are sprayed with Turtlewax tyre foam.

Values of S3's has plummetted in the last 12months which i'm not very happy about.

few funny bits but general this one bored me.

I was half considering a carbon roof, but I think I'm going to have to rule that out due to the obvious cost reasons. I have another roof skin of anoter non sunroof corrado that I need to pick away at until I'm left with just the panel itself.....although I am tempted to take a mould of it before i do that.... take your time and do the carbon roof.
