Thanks Gareth, I'll double check the ride height and check out the wishbones (I'll try and get a picture). Excuse my stupidity but i guess you mean at the front??? Oh and by the way, the RS's are staying put...... Just been and checked, (measurements are from floor up through the wheel centre to the bottom of the arch) FRONT = 585mm & REAR 600mm. If you PM me your email address, I've took some pics of the bottom front arms. They look to slope slightly up to the wheel. Cheers m8! Nice to get comments like this. Yours is beautiful as well, I think you should get yourself another and have a standard and modified one.

Despite the weather (which wasn't as bad as what I thought it was going to be), I really enjoyed the day and enjoyed chatting with everyone from the CCGB and this forum, you really are a nice bunch of people to spend my rainy bank Holiday Monday with. Big thanks to Paul and Judith for the cup of tea, Sausage sandwich and creme egg!! will try and make the curry the night next year. Congrats to Judith on the win and I hope Dave got home OK. Roll on Stanford...... -
No probs m8, dont think I'll get it done for Elsecar though!! Are you still going? was gonna drop you a text tomorrow.
-
Was having doubts about going with the weather looking a bit wet!! Are you going Monday then? Well, I'm definately going to Elsecar, no matter what the weather throws at us! So got some Blackhole last week and even though its set to be bad on Monday, I thought I would give the rado a good going over. Just a vacuum tomorrow and another layer of wax. Some reflection shots from today:

Elsecar Mega Meet + UK Rallye Golf Show 2012

Cheers, I've just been reading that aswell and not seen it!!!! -
I thought a quick detailer was used after a wash when you dont have time for a full on polish / wax job. The detailer gives the car a nice wet look shine. personally, after having my car on the road i wouldnt touch it with anything unless it was washed first.

Just because I like the look of it.......

Not sure on the colour! Wont 19" be too small for me if I'm 6ft tall? Is that a good spec then, gears, brakes etc?
-
My Oil pressure gauge has started to act up a bit. Turned the ignition on today and the gauge needle goes straight over to the maximum (10bar) and stays there. any ideas please?

Looks great. Cant believe thats the same car that I saw at the rolling road day. Whats next on the list of jobs? Does it still have the original sony CD player in the dash? If so, and you ever want to sell it, can I have first dibs please? -

Well Done Jay, powder coated subframe looks sweet and the finished picture looks amazing, paintwork looks perfect. Whats next? It will be a show winner by the end of the year!!! Good luck with the MOT -
Paintwork looks lovely, are you at Elsecar so I can check it out. RS's would suit a Blackberry Corrado I reckon....
-
Tell me about it kip. decisions, decisions......

I heard about the Cycle to work scheme but dont know anything about it really, gonna have to look into it. The only problem with the new found liking of Mountain biking, do I spend the money on a new bike or a Supersprint exhaust for the Rado and live with my mountain bike??????
-
Ha Ha, I bet you would!!! Cheers, I'm going to go look round some of the local shops and check some out. AAARGH, you've got your bike resting on the car! nice bike though.
-
Wow, cheers for all the replies. Thats some serious food for thought. I am 6ft tall and probably look to spend between £350 and £500 i suppose. Might pop round at some point Matt and try your bike for size, are you selling? What size should I be looking at and how many gears? If I see one I like, I'll pop it on here first for opinions. Sounds like Mountain biking is pretty popular on here

My daughter loves the Corrado because she is taller then it! Our daily is a MK5 GT TDI.....

A guy at work organised a day at dolby forrest mountain biking last Saturday so 8 of us chucked our bikes in the back of his van and off we went. What a fantastic day although I'm paying for it now as my legs are burning! They are on about doing it more often now and I wouldnt mind a better bike as mine is a 13 year old raleigh with no suspension. Anyone do mountain biking and can recommend a good make or bike please? Also, my work is moving factory and will now be only 3 miles from my house so will probably use the bike for commuting. (less use for the rado now so will be able to tackle a restoration of all suspension) Cheers
