Good effort. Hope you will be taking it to some shows this year.
-
No, got a black badge from EnthusiastOwned, been after one for a while to try it out. Really like it, looks more subtle in the flesh.

Spot the difference, before: and after:

Cheers chaps! Standard it is then.

what's TPS??? I saw that on eBay last night and was going to ask if it is the same as a Corrado one. Will buy one later. If you could let me know on the clips and stuff that would be great. Do you need to strip your beam and powder coat etc or has it been done already? Are you going standard exhaust too?
-
What about this one: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3851220.htm

Nice one Paul, Did you order them from the dealers? You need to give us prices, especially on: Rear bushes, Brake bias valve, Rear ABS sensors, Lots of new rear beam bolts and spring clips for example like!!! Do you know if you can still get the white clips that fit on the beams that hold the brake pipes?
-
I'm doing a rear beam for my VR, shotblast, powder coat etc. Question is do I go standard bushes or Powerflex ones?
-
awsome work. Are those new bolts and fixings or have you had the original parts re-plated?
-
Cheers for your comments on mine. Definately dont sell the Solitudes (if you done have to), I reckon if you ever sell it, someone would expect it to come with them. More pics please...
-
Love green Storms and I like it best on the Solitudes, looks like youve got a good one. Personally I would lose the storm badge on the grille.
-
I joined this club the other week! Bought a complete rear beam off Ebay for £20 and sorted my own courier out for £48. Currently soaking in WD40 before I start to loosen the bolts and strip it.
-
Dont do what I did and inform the Police, they are absolutely useless. I havent even had a phone call and my accident was the 9th february. Give it a bit then seek revenge!!!
-
Real shame you couldnt keep on to it Andy. At least it will be looked after. I'm thick, was about to write the Youtube link was wrong but then realised!!!!
-
Cheers Asim, Never spotted yours didnt have the ariel, rear wiper or towing eye!! like the bumper mod but I like the rear wiper (strange arent I). One of my dishes has a mark on it but have 2 spares and I found someone that can re-cut the original finish. Do you have those pictures in a bigger format plus anymore that shows the exhaust better if I pm you my email address please?
-
I have them photos plus a couple more floating in my screen saver pictures at work!!! I must admit, your old car is in the only colour I would have instead of the Blackberry, shame it wasnt for sale when I was looking for one. Did your RS's have standard dishes or polished and did you sell or keep them? I'm also after a Supersprint exhaust which should complete the look of the car.
-
If I ever sell, I'll certainly give you a shout mate. Cheers Asim, it was your VR6 that got me started on RS's and your car was amazing. Do you know where it is now or what condition it is? Did you sell it with the RS's?

This arrived at work today............

Things you hate other people do to your car...
ChrisL replied to guildmage's topic in General Car Chat
I hate people touching the car full stop!! and must agree with Chris on those that park too close - is there any need......... -
Cheers for the comments, great to get the feedback. Going to get even better, just bought a rear beam assembly so I can get the underneath as good as the rest.

Corrado virgin, is the storm edition worth the extra premium?
ChrisL replied to maximusiv's topic in General Car Chat
I set out to buy a Classic Green Storm, but then my Blackberry came up and had no regrets pver not getting one. I think if you want an original un-modified factory car then the solitudes look better then the Speedlines. Also, if you like the mystic blue then a storm is the only option. -
Cheers Jim, makes the Saturday spent with the DA worth while, glad we got the bit of no rain so I could get it dried. Glad your keeping your corrado anyway!

ChrisL replied to macvwnut's topic in Event Announcements & Discussion
The ride must be awful on air and imagine doing 70mph on a motorway and suddenly loose air pressure!!!
