  1. Yep! Vince can post them out to you via mail-order, this will cost £10 ... so £380 to your door... you can fit yourself, and get the remap done with vince, not sure how long he will honour the group buy price for remap. you'll need to have a chat with him when you call to place your deposit :) good man on coming on board, I'm sure you won't be disappointed :) Pete
  2. They've not been ordered yet, deadline was extended until Close of business Monday as Vince is off today :) But good man on being the group buy hero!! :-)
  3. thanks for confirming :) come on guys... only one more name to get the very attractive £370 price !

  5. Wonder who it was only you and Dave confirmed payment the day Vince said the card was declined:) come on hero's!!
  6. It can only be swiftkid or daves16v unless you guys can confirm otherwise? Vince is off tomorrow so if that person could please resolve the situation by COP Monday then that would be the 11th set.. Or If anyone else wants to take part to secure the £370 price :) come on guys... So near now lol

    ABS light arghhhhh!!

ABS ECU is separate from the mail engine ECU.
  8. good man, vince has just txted and advised that if the person who's card was declined yesterday pays a deposit then this is indeed our 11 sets ! :) so whoever's card was declined yesterday, be the group buy hero :)
  9. Thats a quirk of paypal i'm afraid :) I have the same problem with subscriptions on VR6OC.com
  10. Many thanks to all all the recent people who have paid.... Here is a list that can be added to the first post... Daves16v - PAID MikeVR6 - PAID swiftkid - PAID JoebloggsVR69 - Paying today vince did mention that someones card was declined yesterday so once that has been paid today, and assuming joeblogsVR69 pays today, there is our 11 orders :) but lets not stop there, this is a proven modification, and these prices do not come around often so make the most of it while you can.
  11. Had this on my mk3 before. Didn't do anything. Only happened once or twice. Always carried a fire extinguisher though so didn't worry too much. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  12. Only need a couple more payments to get the discounted price which will cover any postage costs and still saving on the "upto 10 sets" price :) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  13. Vince says its £10 postage to your door, can't complain at that :)
  14. Just spoke to Vince guys... He's having a day off on Friday so will extend the deadline to Monday to accommodate any late comers :)
  15. Don't tell everyone ;-) lol. Got to always raise the bat. I know it's not much but every little helps!
  16. if your jailbroken you can also install safari upload enabler, i have this on my ipad and iphone and can upload direct from safari.
  17. Vince advises that there are 8 deffo's so far... just need 2 more to secure the group buy price, and a further 1 more to secure the £370 price, which sounds more appealing :)
  18. My fuel rail is a little tatty and has rust spots, im just wondering if it is safe to shotblast and get it powder coated?
  19. wowsers, my 220BHP mk2 VR6 had an endless list of mods. low comp bottom end, schrick BVH, shrick VGI, 268 cams, bmc, 6 branch, 3.68 gearbox, coilovers, uprated ARB's, coilovers etc... declared everything and that was only 960 a year back in 2005... and I was only 22 then!
  20. yup, brentacre.... I had a VR6 in my mk2 golf ans had an "upto 220BHP" policy, any mod that took me to 220BHP basically was covered! also was able to "mirror" my NCB from my daily driver to bring down the price of the policy too.
  21. sorry, i misread this as a VR6. 16v wishbones are different, so please ignore me :D

    ABS light arghhhhh!!

Id start off by verifying that your ABS bulb has not blown, easily done by popping out the PCB from the ABS light unit, you may be able to see the bulb has blown, if not, simply use a multi-meter or another bulb and touch the terminals... I have ABS light bulbs, you'd just need to solder it onto the PCB. 10 minute job.... you will probably find that you have a fault code stored, so id advise to clear the fault codes using VAG-COM, see what comes back and go from there, you can always do simple things like removing the multi-plugs and checking for corrosion, clean up, apply WD-40 etc... sometimes the ABS ECU plug can be subjected to water ingress, my plug was totally knackered, stuck a new ECU in, job done.... theres also some relays / fuses, also check these, one of my fuses fell apart upon removal, this also cured another fault code on VAG-COM too. hopefully once you have checked the basics, and have ran VAG-COM through it you will be in a better position to verify the issues... im in stoke if your near and would happily run vag-com through it.
