4. has anyone else paid yet who's on the original list?
5. Great stuff, niceone mate just need find some standard wishbones now so I can send off for powdercoating :)
6. Cheers matey. Just want to find some wishbones now so I can powder coat those if you know of any going... My other car failed mot on more things than my Corrado believe it or not, and it's only 5 years old! At least I know what remains to be done on the Corrado to get it on the road but as usual I want to do it properly so taking a little longer :) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
7. Think they are more suited to turbo applications and gives more top end :)
8. Of course they are or I wouldn't have said :) they are the same price as the 263's...
9. michael5556 from the VR6OC has paid deposits for 268 degree cams as part of the GB... So, if anyone wants 268's instead of 263's this is an option too... maybe worth updating the first post? ---------- Post added at 5:34 PM ---------- Previous post was at 5:28 PM ---------- also from the VR6OC: Pearsy47 has dropped out. Daverse has dropped out.
10. It's been a while since I last did an update.... Had a few issues prior to MOT with the aux pump blowing and needing a new seal on the radiator neck.... MOT didnt quite go to plan.... it failed on the following: 2x front to rear brake lines 1x passener side brake line 1x drop link Advisories: Drivers side headlight pattern (upon inspection noticed that the unit was from a left hooker!) Play on passenger wishbone brake discs badly pitted - but still passed brake tolerance..... not surprised they had been standing for 3 years plus! So, I've now purchased 3 green steel brake lines from a chap on here, a new front sub-frame as the captive nut had snapped, this is currently away at the powder coaters getting blasted and restored... I had a spare glass from my old knackered headlights, so replaced the glass from a RHD corrado and also replaced the reflector too... out wit the old: in with the new: Stuck some Phillips X-Vision bulbs, really noticable improvement now... Finished wrapping all the OBD2 loom now, and have also fitted a battery jacket to finish off the engine bay; Replaced my old fuel tank straps with my stainless ones... fitted my new roof rubbers too, pretty happy with these... now for some more exiting stuff... Dropped my G60 gearbox and VR6 gearbox down at Stealth Racing for a 3.68 transplant.... bought all new seals and bearings as well as ARP diff bolts... honestly cannot wait for this :) Also ordered a set of 263 schimmel cams as part of the group buy on here too.... should be fun to drive :) my current to do list looks a little like this: fit brake lines fit new sub-frame & wishbones fit ARB drop links replace 2 exhaust rubbers - mid section fix the fuel tank pressurising issue... looks like I have a blocked pipe from the tank to evap canaster. replace oil cooler as was running hotter than id have liked.. Then its ready for re-MOT :) now I have my final to-do list to get it on the road, its getting pretty exciting. I've also purched a new set of injectors that im sending to http://mrinjectoruk.co.uk/ for ultra sonic cleaning and re-furb to ensure all the basics are covered prior to fitting cams and remap!... comments welcome :)
11. Maybe Dave16v could easily knock something up if you sent him a template in stainless, looks a straight forward design... Rubber gromets, you will be lucky, but should be able to get a second hand one and clean it up :)
12. Hi, I'm after 2 front (genuine) VR6 wishbones in good condition if possible as I will be sending for shot-blasting and powdercoating and fitting uprated bushes etc... Please let me know a price delivered to Stoke thanks. Pete
13. Sweet. Many thanks. Does anyone have part numbers for updated r32 bushes and ball park price? Thanks.
14. Cheers buddy. Do you know a ball park figure for how much those bolts will set me back?
15. Can you put a description against the part numbers please? :) just so I know what I'm ordering... :)
16. Got a genuine Bosch from German eBay for about 80 quid delivered. I posted up a thread about it the other month. Check our my previous threads :) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
17. Replaced the glass in my drivers side headlight as it was flagged on MOT it was flagged the light from a left hooker (cheers whoever I bought it from on here) luckily I had a spare unit with a broken case so I swapped the glass and the reflector too as it wasn't brilliant either. So now I have a good drivers side light again that will pass an MOT :)
18. Didn't realise people still made websites using flash anymore :) its a dieing technology, don't even have it installed on my mac anymore either... You may find that google wonk rank your website high if it cannot crawl your site for content, they may have improved on this over the years but was one of the reasons people switched to alternative technologies that's compatible with some of the most popular devices on the market :)
19. I just get a blank screen on my iPhone mate?
20. Looking back to page 5, im probably guessing that its daleyboy and Dude VR6 :) as well as me! :) 50P if you can guess my username? I'm also going to advertise this on the Stealth Racing facebook page at the request of Vince and share from the VR6OC facebook page too to drum up more interest!
21. I thought all corrado sub-frames were the same? I could be wrong though...
22. Ok, I've just called Vince to pay me £100 deposit as we do not know what the final figure will be, so if you dont have all of the cash now, you only need to pay £100 deposit! 3 people have paid up so far: Pete Miles Dale Come on guys :) lets get this sorted! P.S I also spoke to him about the possibility of extending this to 268's too as some people from the VR6OC would like to go 268's due to turbo applications - he says there shouldnt be any problems with including these either.... but give him a call.
