Yeah v expensive, but as you say they make all the difference. The rubber on the inside of mine broken apart and fallen off - new ones do make a difference, at least aesthetically. Where you get them?

I got em off eBay. Had them over a year but only just got around to fit them :)

Should feel a different car once it's sorted. Very frustrating when you pay good money thinking it will be sorted, gutting when it isn't and same problem persists.

I only let 3 different people work on any of my previous VRs. 2 off vr6oc and Vince at stealth.

via the datacentre which routes through level3, proxy is web sense at work and O2 at home no proxy. All was working fine the other day :)

another annoyance.... browsing the forum i keep getting prompted for the captcha.

I was speaking to Vince @ stealth the other day if its worth bothering with a lighter flywheel. his response was "dont bother" good enough for me.

yep, only started yesterday mate, tapatalk now works today, but still cant access on main URL. keep getting a blank page. tried different locations / ip addresses and can only get on via direct.the-corrado but then get the capcha which is almost impossible to get right :)

jesus, no doubt that includes the "corrado rare last remaining tax"

totally, a 3.68 FD is a modification often overlooked and really changes the charactisteristics of the VR6... had one on my previous VR's and currently collecting all the bits to get my new gearbox with the final drive fitted.

id only be interested in the Schimmel... tried and tested and the results speak for them selves.. very good power gains in some applications following remap.

im looking for a price on the sunroof seals ? can you still get these?

id be interested in a set of 263's those with my G60 final drive should make it a nice machine.

looks they have switched from cloudflaire to incapsula... they are all pointless ive already had issues accessing, using direct.thecorrado again and no tapatalk. very frustrating and probably not needed... the captcha thing isnt very user friendly either :) probably why tapatalk isnt working as its loading up a page tapatalk isnt expecting and you dont get prompted to enter your captcha...

mines in a clear bottle and is green, totally different from what you've just put up....

ive just done a flush on mine... well infact 2 flushes as i got 2 litres.

All nice and green now. still a little noisey until the air has escaped the system but now peace of mind knowing there is no ATF in there.

There is ATF in there at the moment, just got 2 litres of that green stuff to flush all the ATF out!! its all just the same generic fluid :) lol as long as it aint gonna melt my system i dont really mind, has to be better than the ATF and on the bottle it says it matches the VW G002004 specification?

You can gurantee they will fall apart on removal... very brittle going hot/ cold / hot / cold etc... over a long period of time...

they dont secure the fans in place, i always thought it was to aid the air flow with the fans.

I got a refurbbed one a while ago from GSF... lasted about 9 months, i then purchased an original one from VW... so beware.

the fan ring guides are now absolete when i asked at the dealers, I had to purchase from germany after i had my cowel sand blasted and powder coated.

Sure are mate. Brand spankers. That's 2 weekly food shops you see there :) not cheap but really does look great. Not worth the price though for what they are but hey ho in for a penny in for over a hundred pounds lol

It was a bit of a bummer. Doesn't look like much of a corner from above but does a bit more on the ground! I remember it being morning, damp and shaded so probably just hit a dodgy spot and off it went! :( I sold the mk2 to buy a house but the new owner stacked it, as far as I know the engine is in a corrado somewhere! It was a low comp 2.9 running wossner pistons :) was a fun project building the mk2. Was a beast on the road!

I didn't come out of it too bad, just a broken nose, busted knuckles and ankles, worst of all I ended up with a double inguinal hernia which was awesome.
