  1. Apologies for the naff photos. Fitted my new roof rubbers. One side went straight on but the other took over an hour of messing before it sat properly.
  2. The final remains of my mk3 lol. Also got the HT leads I sent off to magnecor to fix on the corrado so not all bad.
  3. Not my address anymore lol :) Please feel free remove the image with the address. I can't do it on tapatalk on iPad. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  4. I'd do it all again tomorrow! Here is my bill. I've never translated it so please feel free :) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  5. Do you have solid or vented discs currently?
  6. 80MPH I was doing at impact! Gutted but here are some photos of my mk3 too: I dont use the term "mint condition" often but the mk3 was! Full bare metal respray, about 5k worth of engine / transmission a few months before I went the ring.
  7. I was on a fast lap that day, but there was a bit of damp I didn't see, and with having a boot full of gear, was a little late in recovering :) after a bit of spinning, 32 sections of armco and 8 posts later I had to hand over €2,000 before I could get my car back! Luckily my breakdown company covered recovery and was bought back to the UK with a load of other wreaks from the ring for free, but a lot of recovery companies now exclude the nurburgring! Amazingly it still ran and was able reverse the car into the garage, had no steering though as the chassis legs were all bent out as you can see :-)
  8. Well doesn't time fly! Lap 4 on the slight left hander after the Karussell the back end came swinging around which effectively put an end to my weekend, and my beloved mk3 VR6! :( If it wasn't for the truly amazing people I went with from The VR6 Owners Club I don't know what I'd have done, for the support, paying my bill as my bank card didn't work and for the support! Eventually once my finances recovered I was in a position to build my mk3 from all the spares I had so was more mk3 than mk2! It turned out pretty well! 221bhp with 3.68 FD, quaiffe diff. Miss the mk2 was a true driving machine, wasn't much that touched it on the road. So here's my little tribute to my trip to the Nurburgring, as a bonus I came away with a broken nose and a double hernia too so carful if anyone does go :) but I will go again, with more wisdom and respect. Bring on 2012 - the year of the corrado! Pete

How many pins is the rear connector? Got one in garage, I soldered a new bulb into it after the old one blew..
  12. You'd probably get more benefits from a lightened fly wheel! :)
  13. Think the OBX ones are cheaper. Do the same job :)
  14. Fitted my gearbox plate. Think it was the first ever "5 minute" job I've done on the C without something else breaking!
  15. Top is completely different and the diameter of the bottom one is too small to fit on the corrado radiator. I know this as I built a mk2 vr6 from my mk3 parts after I wrote it off at the nurburgring..
  16. VW classic parts still do them.
  17. Pretty sure gearboxes were the same in the golf and corrado UK models. Just picked up a spare vr6 box and g60 box to do a 3.68 final drive upgrade.
  18. Top and bottom rad hoses are different from the golf to the corrado. I priced em up a couple weeks ago and comes in at an eye watering £119!
  19. Yo. VR6OC is mine but been away in London so not logged on! What's the problem bud?
  20. Don't use sponges to was your car! Use microfiber mits :)
  21. Where did you get the fuel lines from mate and how much?
  22. Yea they do, top hose from merlin Motorsport is £63 + VAT and delivery! Not cheap I'm afraid :(
