ARP bolts came today for gearbox rebuild, new bearings and seals sitting at Stealth. VR6 and g60 gearbox will be dropped off next week :-)

Hi mate, does sound like an earth problem, or the yellow temp sendor is knackered! if you plug VAG-COM into your diagnostics port, you can pull the actual reading from the ECU with regards to temperature and for peace of mind. Probably more than likely your temp sensor if everything has worked ok in the past though!

Thats really good feedback, ive just emailed them for a price... Are the Golf 2.8 injectors the same as used in the corrados? I'm going to source some injectors off the bay unless anyone on here has any going cheap? :)

Have you checked the fuse in the FCM ? If you bridge the pins on the yellow plug the aux pump and fans should come on after.. I had some issues initially with mine, and the fan speeds not working, but found a red wire that I had forgot to connect as per the OBD2 conversion thread :) Once I had done this, everything worked as it should... your aux pump should operate on ignition too, i take it that it doesnt work off ignition either? Suppose it could be the FCM, but its more likely to be a wiring issue as a result of your OBD2 if it worked before you did the upgrade :) ---------- Post added at 10:44 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:42 AM ---------- I do have the diagrams. i'll upload shortly.

The Phillips ones come highly recommended from other people on here... I will install mine in next few days and try and get some comparisons ! I've got an uprated loom, but not yet fitted them... will decide if I do after fitting these new bulbs :)

You can pick them up from the dealers mate... I got some not long ago, only issue I had was that the old one had snapped in the hub so had to drill it out and re-thread.

Cheers guys! nothing for ages then 2 pop up at once :-) ill await further photos and make decision. Just got a good condition front VR6 badge, good condition front grill with VW badge, a new rear VR6 and rear VW badge so want to complete the set with the script badge :)

Yeah same here Dave. Just can't get the shape right at all! I can see why the original item was pressed. Feel free to have another look. Would be great if could get something that works well. Will prob take another look after I've got MOT done so I know what else I need fix/replace but hopefully it will pass and I can just try and sort insurance :)

We've had problems with that! Had 2 attempts so far. But needed get mine fitted for MOT so will revisit unless anyone is handy with metal? :)

Well I've done my test fit and they fit great! I'll start a new feeler thread once I've confirmed a few things with my mate. Old straps looked like this; Dead lol
