Apparently standard the G40 isn't all that.... I've never been in a standard one. The written off 40 I bought already had a Jabba stg4 charger (which had to be rebuilt by pitstop after only 4k....) and a couple of other things. BUT what I do know is that I would happily race a 16v corrado without fear of being beaten. My 40 at present is running 160bhp+. Before I had the g60 injectors/sns stg5 map I raced my Corrado VR (when my mate owned it) and happily beat him. We raced from a rolling start of 50mph and he said his speedo was reading 130mph and I was still pulling from him. If the vid is still hosted I'll post the link. So yes, I would leave a 16v for dust in my polo. well thats a lie. I melted another piston in it today. bugger.

well thats settled that then. I bought a knob from vw but it was the wrong colour leather. there was a choice of 4 knobs. It's now sitting in Sciroccotunes rado! I suppose I'll need a load of stuff off zarman to match the reiger knob. Yay. Here's to spending MORE money...... :drinking:

What's the stroty with those crystal red in-pros?? Are they m3 style tinted? I thought they all had that gay chrome plastic around them??

Had a piece of paper under the wiper for a few days now. Maybe a forum flyer!!! Just up the road I spotted this one coming over Chiswick Bridge. Saw a similar looking one a couple of days later. J??? ETM maybe?? Was at Drift Bridge VW yesterday and this was in the car park. I think the parts dude said it was having a heater matrix?? Had a nice grey dash and grey leather. Saw this one on the Fountain roundabout in New Malden on Thursday morning. This one I saw a while back in Hanwell in traffic. Didnt even realise it was a rado next to me at first!! Nearly missed this one in Putney!! See this every now and then on Rocks Lane in Roehampton Thats the lot for a while...

Mk3 Polos have a rocker switch. My rado has a late dash with the roaund push in switches.

Mine doesnt light up when it's turned on. Can they be taken apart and the bulbs changed?? It's the push in type, not the rocker switch. A new switch is £44+ at the dealers, and I'm buggered if I'm paying that!! Cheers Rob

I might try that in my Kangoo!!! My mum said that other Suzuki Ignis drivers wave when they see her driving in one! So many mk2 Golf GTi's look moded when they are head on.. yet like you say they are their a-b cars and when you wave they think you're giving them road rage!!!!
