i dont think mine is in swappable condition... the corner has a crack on it and it's a little bent from where I hit a fox. I also munched it pretty hard into the floor in a multi storey on the weekend. Ride height will be going down when I get my arches rolled! You dont look to be that much lower then mine.

I have been thinking of going for a deeper spoiler lately.. and then I saw your car in pvw and I thought I'd made up my mind.. However, I dont want to get a deeper spoiler and then it look like arse because it scrapes everywhere.. Also the thinner one does look kind of cool. Good job there are no other options as choosing one of the two is difficult enough!! Here's a pic of mine with the smaller spoiler.

Hmmmmm... seriously thinking about a new V for mine. Maybe later next year R32 lumps will have come down in price a little. Keep us updated, this looks like it should be good!!

Those mirrors on JD's car are so ugly. They look like stupid pixie ears. -

I hate taking the rear seats out of mine... it creases the leather really bad.

I must have polished and waxed my car 3 times a week over the summer!! Looked pretty shiney though!! :)

Mine came with two palstic 'plugs' that screw into the florr carpet then the holes in the mat clip over the plugs. They are to stop them from sliding forward, but everytime i get in the car i have to pul the mat back and clip it over the plugs again. I have tried different techniques of gettingin the car to try and stop them un-clipping, but I think its just the mats being sh!te.

Yeah I agree about the vw mats. They aint much good. I paid £31.58+VAT from my friendly discount-giving vw dealer, but they should have been £49+VAT retail price.... They are not worth over 50 quid. Mine always unpop themselves off the plastic screw thingies that they clip over. Bad design. Because of this the mat always gets caught under the clutch pedal. I'm going to get some different mats made. Might try Justmatz and have a custom logo put on them...

I think my 'Corrado' Dealer mats came in at under 40 quid. I'll look through my reciepts.

Steam rising in traffic.. I suspect something's wrong....

I had this problem too... mine turned out to be a split rad where the rear engine mount had snapped and the engine had rocked forward and punctured the rad. Hopefully yours wont be as expensive as that to fix though... -

I dont have many pics of my Golf as my laptop is dead.. This is one of the best and most recent pics I've got of it.
-
The Golf is in a sorry state. Going to be stripped and sold/scrapped beginning of next year. It's been SORN for the last 3 years now.
-
Have I told you about my mk2 Golf as well?? :D :D My pictures of my cars seem to have a reaccuring theme... those red bollards crop up pretty often!! Also the big silver tower outside Fabris Lane looks cool too! It's handy that I can wash the car, drive 1/2 a mile up the road and have some nice locations to take pics!!

Admittedly, after looking back at the beginning of the thread at my old pics for the first time in a while, I do admit the Speedines do look good!! I hated them when I first got the car! As for extrior modding.. well I have a couple of things I want to do. The arches will all be getting rolled and ever-so-slightly flared. Going to try all red rear lights. and colour code the rear number palte recess. I also want to try a reiger grill. I think that a colour coded de-badged grill with spoiler might look pretty nice! Oh, and some light smoke window tints. But that's it. I like the way they look standard but it does need just a couple of things. The inside however could do with lots. I plan on soundproofing the whole insides. I'm aiming for 1st Class travel! Nice stereo system with a tv headunit... I'm on the look out for a Porsche steering wheel and maybe gear knob too. Before the summer I want air-con, as last summer was just a non-stop sweat pit of driving.... Thanks for all the nice comments! Oh, the pic was takien with a Jessops semi-fish eye lens on my fuji camera!

I tend to always get a wave off other Corrado owners.... Not so much when I flash my lights at them when I'm in my van though!!

you've had that ibiza for what? 2.5 minutes??

Is this how they all look? Whats the deal with the bits round the headlights?? Or are they headlight protectors??

Corrado 1 - Fox 0 quite suprising that a 70mph impact only broke an indicator, although I haven't had a chance to look properly in the daylight yet. Didn't half go with a thud, then bounced around for a while underneath the car. First thing I've hit in 11 years of driving.... oh, apart from a dog on Kingston one-way system that ran out a side road into the front wing!! (I was doing less than 5mph that time though.) Felt bad after killing the poor thing.. (at least I hope I killed it) It looked scared as I plowed into it!!! The misses nearly puked over the dash.. The girl done good to hold it down!
