Being told to "fu ck off" and being hung up on could qualify as being rude on the phone. I was trying to return some GTI Golf arches that had been delivered SEVEN weeks late. But because they were 'special order' they told me I couldnt. In the time it took them to send them to me, my Golf had been to the bodyshop for a full respray and I decided to go trimless (beacuase I didnt have the trim to send with the car!!).....

I wouldnt use them even if they sold the trims for a tenner.

anthracite. need to see the wheels, but generally all wheels look good in antracite. or black. Def not gold or white. silver is the safe option.

none. I think my passenger window is already scratched from when they put the windows down to put the trim back on.

How much do they charge? I was quoted £450+VAT from Pentagon in Acton. west London. L&M charged me £180 A mate had his car done at in sutton at a place I cant remeber the name of, and he had to leave his windows up for 7 days too...

Radostormvr6, what % are those? They look about the same as mine. Somehow yours look good yet I'm not 100% sure about mine. Maybe in time they will grow on me. Furks, have to leave them up for 7 days to let them dry. L&M tinting from Leicester did them.

I've looked at many a pic of your car and never realised it was tinted! Looking at it now they look about as dark (or light) as mine. You dont like them?

Tinters make you fully aware of the law before they tint your car or even when they quote you. Yes I'm moody after having to sweat it out in a shed load of traffic on the way home from the meet. M25 shut + blazing heat + not being able to open my front windows for 7 days = one very miserable Rob. So. Any pics anyone?

I'm fully aware of the legalities. You the Corrado-forum police or something?? Do you have window tints? Do you have pics to show me? Anything over the stock 70% standard glass tint is illegal, I know. Why dont you go and give flamer boy some grief.

That top one must've seen my gallery pics!! Arches and wheels are identical! Not liking the bumpers or the tailgate though.. and it's a little too low. Didnt notice the handles at first but they are pretty trick! I wonder if it make them more difficult to use? Phat, not sure I'd say 'horrendous' but not really my cup of tea. Respect to all the people that wanna do that to engines/bays, and not saying I dont like shiney things (as I have a few bits that I want to get plated) but you can go a little too far..

I had my windows tinted today. 35% on the sides, and 50% on the rear screen. I havent seen many rados on here with tints but there must be a few. I'll post pics of mine once I've cleaned all the mank off the car (baby powder and soapy water marks). I'm not sure if mine are too dark. :? I'm concerned that I may have wasted my money on the 35%... thinking maybe I should've gone 50% all round.

Today when I was having some tints put on the rado, some dude turned up... "Nice Corrado" he said, "is it a G60?" So no, not everyone thinks al rados are vr's!!! hehe

It's a Halfrauds jobby... Can't remember the size, but it's one of the smaller ones they do. Peeled the 'Halfords' stickers off it the day I got it!

Had my windows tinted today.

I was in Brighton the other month taking pics infront of some graffitti when some dude walked past "hey nice scirocco" "it's a corrado" "Yeah, nice scirocco" "..corrado" "I like sciroccos" "well this is a corrado" He still walked off muttering something about sciroccos.

You dont need the short roof adapter thingy. If you look on the rear window seal at the top there are two trinagles. Push the rubber in inbetween the triangles and there is a gap. This is where the rear feet grip. The fitting kit however is pretty essential!!

Scratch-x'd and Gold class'd the rado today so that washing it next time should be nice and easy. All I have to do is give the inside a good cleaning before the weekend. I need to get a banner made for my club, but that's about it. Cant be arsed to clean the engine bay... I'm not entering in the S&S or concours so it can stay dirty!!

The tape holders are meant to be screwed in?? No wonder mine comes loose all the time!!!

I saw a rado last week with a smooth roof and it doesnt look right at all. New trims from VW will cost under £100 for a pair.

I think I only paid an extra £160 at the bodyshop to get my bonnet and wings resprayed.
