General concensus on this is as Goldie says, the oil level. There are a few reasons it happens though, probably worth taking a look at this thread http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15274

Whats the worst thing youve done to ur corrado
steve_16v replied to CorradoDriver's topic in General Car Chat
Ditto, walked out the next morning to see a massive pool of oil under the car and feared the worst, was very relieved to see the cap sitting on the inlet manifold. -
The only one I can think of that was quicker was the Alfa GTV V6 at over 150mph, and although it came out after the Corrado production ended the Fiat Coupe 20vT could do over 154mph. (Lotus Elan 1.6T top speed is about 137mph)

If it was my car I'd use a blanket or sheet of some sort to cover wherever the dog was being put, much easier to clean.

Two blokes did the Cannonball 8000 in one of them this year, mentalists!

I agree with the Schmidts, also like the OZ but would need to see them on a corrado before buying some. -
Mate, Bournemouth's quite a large detour if he's going back to W. Yorks from the IOM (5-600ish miles out of the way!) (You might be thinking of The Isle of Wight  )

Longest you were stuck in a traffic jam for
steve_16v replied to Tempest's topic in General Car Chat
I had the morning off the day of the eclipse so stayed at home to watch it, didn't see feck all because of the clouds! Later on found out that it wasn't cloudy at work and everyone had had a good view of it ... feckers! Longest spent in a traffic jam though was on my way up north for the august bank holiday, it was stop start (mostly stop) all the way from just south of bristol to manchester on the m5 and m6, took about 9 hours instead of the usual 3.5 -
Mine didn't last long after it was lowered, they were briefly cable tied on but that didn't last long either, haven't had any problems without out them but if you've got a BMC pointing down then I'd say it's better to be safe than sorry and have new ones fitted.

Can't wait to see these on the car, wasn't sure when gradeA was originally selling them but up against the car they look great!

Well, I've got an outside tap round the back of the house but the extensions prevent the hosepipe reaching the drive and I don't have a pressure washer, electricity isn't a problem though. I'll check if any of my mates have or know of anywhere somewhere suitable, may be able to sort something out in the new year :)

Wow! From the pics I thought that bumper would have needed a respray, excellent work there jedi-knight83, shame you're based so far away else I'd be booking mine in for the full works.

The lowered one is more aerodynamic, you don't want more air passing underneath the car because there's a lot of drag created by all the stuff under there. That's why some cars have automatic suspension that lowers itself at higher speeds.

That's harsh, similar thing happened to me last year, I knew which dopey old moose in her black merc did it but didn't have any witnesses or proof, so couldn't really do anything about it

Well it's definitely not on Tesco's hefty list of codes (just checked), unless it automatically changes them for NI addresses that is

Maybe it's a northern irish thing? Which insurer is it?

sp40 is for speeding in a passenger vehicle, sp30 is for speeding on a public road, sp50 is for speeding on a motorway, sp10 is exceeding goods vehicle speed limit, sp20 for exceeding (non goods) vehicle speed limit. Are you sure the 8013 isn't the convicting court code? They're all four digit numbers as far as I'm aware.

Our local Tesco doesn't, I remember the asda fresh bread being pretty good but our nearest one is over 30 miles away. Might be wrong but I would have thought they still put preservatives in their fresh stuff though?
