I put a coat of Wet Mirror Finish on before Jetseal as several people suggested on Detailing World - no complaints from me. Difficult to get a shine on Yellow but happy with the reflection
-
...bought some OE spec wiring cloth tape and some cloth twistwrap slleving from a company called Vehicle Wiring Products. Good quality products with excellent customer service - I can highly reccomend them http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.co.uk

Jetseal109 is "The" product of the moment but with good reason, used it on the bodywork and wheels prior to Stanford - although the car didn't get dirty the wheels obviously accumulated brake dust - with the jetseal it just clumped together and came off wih a very light wipe over with a cloth.

I've been using a lot of Chemical Guys stuff recently and think its superb - especially Jetseal109 - awesome product

Well done Timg60 - going to be doing mine this week, managed to get hold of a new centre console so your success gives me hope. Also managed to get hold of another cupholder set up that is a cupholded with slide out cubby hole, its DIN sized and came from a Lupo, will try both and see what works best

...managed to get factory tours of Lamborghini and Pagani and a pass to get me in to the factory Alfa Romeo museum in September. Just got to decide whether to buy tickets for the Italian Grand Prix or not now :D

Think I have the response I was looking for - they won't fit over the brakes and they are too small. How about these:
-
Should fit no problem at all
-
As per thread title....opinions please?
-
Difficult to say until its fitted, if it does tilt I can't see it being too much, worse case scenario is having to take a healthy slurp of drink before sticking it in the holder. Glad the bumpers OK, my beter half has still not forgiven me for going back to the OE front bumper but in Ngget Yellow it made the front like too "heavy", much better in darker colours

I've got one of those that I'm hoping to fit soon, moving the stereo down and placing the cupholder in the old stereo slot

Jim's Corrado - ciao to the Fiat! Hello to.. (P64)
Andy665 replied to Jim's topic in Members Gallery
Good to hear Jim, although I always keep my cars well maintained I'm always stupidly apprehensive come MOT time -
If the rest of the car is sound and you would keep it for a good while and not dispose of the original engine then I'd say it would be worth swapping over

My 1.8T Rado......End of the adventure.......Gutted!
Andy665 replied to rado-steve's topic in Members Gallery
Looks lovely now Steve - now I know what a Nugget looks like on my favourite wheels - must admit to being jealous :D -
The 180 version was only available in the Avensis from 2006
-
These are mine, bought them cheaply, no idea what make they are and never seen another set, looking for a change at the moment but can't find anything I like (apart from Mike G60's LM's).

[/b]daves16v - it was good to chat, you should have introduced yourself

Spent a weekend and a half really getting the Nugget clean, fully clayed, followed by numerous Sonus products, sealed with Jetseal109 and topped with Chemical Guys 50/50 wax. All wheels were removed and arches cleaned, wheels cleaned, waxed and sealed front and rear, chrome rocker cover fitted, engine bay and underside of bonnet cleaned

I have a bra for my G60 but use it for practical as opposed to aesthetic reasons, sick of getting my bonnet re-painted

audi coupe 2.6 v6 any experiences? tips? etc....
Andy665 replied to ben16v's topic in General Car Chat
2.6 V6 had 150bhp, lovely smooth engine but they are not quick - damned heavy car. We had a 2.6 Cab and it was a lovely car to waft around in but its certainly not a "sporting" coupe. Economy wise we seemed to average about 26 - 27mpg -
......it was 13 years ago today that the late, great Ayrton Senna was taken
