Ah Interesting, I know when another member mentioned about this car from a few years back that it was based near the lake district it seemed that it had to be the same car (this one) but it may well not be the case. Still big money though really, how about an 8v? they are super cars to drive and very torquey bottom end! I have an 8v and a 1.8 16v and a VR6 and the difference between the valvers isn't that huge if i'm honest and the 8v pulls better at low revs too... Good luck with the viewing then!

Hi Stella, I was due to look at this car 3 years ago but decided against it due to it being a cat C/D write off. nothing major i just thought it was up for too much considering the status and it still is too much if you ask me. I think he's relying on someone liking the rare colour and jumping the gun with a pocket full of money. One to avoid if you ask me. Hi Jay, Welcome back, now what i have to say is this....lol! you say yourself that you have zero spare time and zero spare cash to do the sort of projects you have done in the past, therefore if you are happy to live with a standardish VR other than some suspension and nice wheels then i think you should definately consider another. The way i see it is that you created probably the worlds finest corrado and that is something a lot of people still admire. I'm sure you'll be able to look back on this project and think to yourself Yeah!!!! I did that :) I have no doubt that you'd want to change a few other things but also know you will be content to drive a reasonably standard car and just enjoy the whole mythos that is the word, Corrado..... Kip ;)

Well its looking almost there now, and have arranged for a new vw windscreen to be fitted which should arrive tomorrow then hopefully get fitted saturday along with the rear quater windows. Then it'll be on a flat bed lorry home to rebuild with all the trim and lights etc and then hopefully booked in for an MOT as it ran out a while ago along with the tax. Hope it passes but it wont fail on brake related problems as they are all good (i hope) and it certainly wont fail on corrosion anywhere as it's mint underneath but needs a good fettle :)

Had a few hours buffing the VR today as was my day off and may be a while before the next one as the Nugget comes home soon. Do love me VR though :)
