  1. Sounding good kev, I use Peter d James for both my VR and the 16v, the vr is £260with agreed value for 10k, while the Nugget has just come through this week with a renewal of £160 with an agreed value of 4k bear in mind i'm an old fart though lol! maybe worth a quick call to check if they can help though ;)
  2. Interesting info David, cheers for sharing that. ;)
  3. Whers's the like button Lol! Nice one Laura! :)
  4. Truly laughable mate, your updates are something like a beginers guide to everything :) quality stuff!
  5. Ha Ha! that exactly what i thought. Nce you have a plan though Andy ;)
  6. Really Dave? thought you were happy with them, would like to hear about it mate so what did they do? whack it up in here i think as would hate to hide anything from folk especially if i have recomended somewhere and they aren't coming up trumps. Maybe times have changed there over the last few years... Not good :(
  7. Hi Tony, Sounds like indeed a new alarm would be a good choice, i'm a clifford man after having 4 now in various cars 2 of which have been on my vr as after 10 years it started to play up a little, i put it down to all the electrics getting tired so had the more up to date version of the same alarm fitted again and it actually cost £50 less that the original i had installed when i bought the car in 1999 Lol! I go to Technicar on Abbydale road sheffield. if you mention the Corrado Club GB and flash your card you should also get a little discount too. Give them a call and have a chat first, i have sent a few folk there and have always had good feedback from those people too! Kip
  8. AH James thats interesing as i was all set to go and view this very same car back then too before i bought my 8v daily, i actually dd an online car check with the RAC and it came back with a cat C or D against it so it put me off and i never went to view it... has to be the same car as that was in that area too and the guy said he was moving to new zealand. :)
  9. Kev, If you have the thinner ones with the corrado script on them they are self adhesive and may tear/stretch when you try to remove them, a little heat would probably soften them up enough to remove but you would need some good glue to restick them back on afterwards and thats if they come off in one piece. Good Luck
  10. Whhheee new mag on the doorstep when I got back from my ride today :) looks like a really superb effort Jim and looking forward to a good read later! :)
  11. Lol! Quality footage and a bit of both skill and luck by the comments :)
  12. I think it's work in progress mate so i wouldn't get upset about it, i know he only bought it quite recently too so if anything fuzzer will have done it a favour by buying it from the last guy who had it. Watch this space :)

  22. Long time since the last update so thought i'd do sumat to the VR today :) I got a Dual Action Polisher for my 40th from my parents last year so i've been practising on a spare bumper that we have down the side of the house (like you do) Only done the offside rear quater but very pleased with the results and it has removed quite a few swirl marks so really chuffed with it! Need to do a bit more though if I get chance before Stonor next Sunday :)
  23. fingers crossed Yan, would like to see the results of the plating too! I know Bruny bought a kit recently also so must have a look at some of the bits he's done. :)
