    Tps

Yeah a tricky one as having an account would be a nightmare to run nationally. I go in person to my local one in Dronfield near Sheffield and they seem to be happy to supply me, it just means i go and collect which i dont mind anyway. Am sure most branches would supply too if you didn't want it delivering. I know a few on here do the same, Supercharged and co etc. They can only say no if you ask them i guess.....
  6. 4 sets here please, Joys of owning 5 Corrados, and yes very well done! :)
  7. Mats wise a VW dealer in barnsley sell them on ebay for around £60, they are the embroided ones too as i bought a set a few weeks ago but collected them after winning them as they are very local to me. 50mm spoiler is now obsolete by the way. :(
  8. Could it be a faulty actuator mate? i tried 3 different ones before it finally worked without issues, annoying but persistance came good in the end. Also try adjusting the travel on the rod with thread on it as i think if that is a long way off where it should be this can also cause problems.
  9. What was the metalwork like underneath the screen Neil?
  10. Why, if someone would rather fit a tow bar to the Corrado rather than buy some other type of car to lig stuff around in i dont see the problem, am sure its not a permanent fixture and if it was then i'm sure it'd come in handy...... :)
  11. Hello mate, Welcome to the forum, we are (Butterfly & Me) based in elsecar so not far from you and only a stone throw away from the 1st show of the season. we will be having a stand at the show so keep your eyes out for the thread on here soon. But if you get any problems whack them up on here as i'm sure we'll all get you sorted out if you have a problem. Kip
  12. Nice work mate, fingers crossed all goes well from now on :ignore:
  13. Yep front cross member and rad support for Jude! will make sure she confirms though too. :salute:
  14. Nice one, the guys who run the place are John & Matt. the nugget will be there too so have a nosey. Tell them i sent you too as i'm sure it'll break the ice nicely, (expect rolling eyes and OH NO! not another one) Lol!
  15. I guess it depends totally on driving style mate, i have (obviously) replaced all mine several times with gen VAG items and i actually find them adequate, but i am aware how much better 288's are as my friend has them on his VR Corrado so was quite impressed. But i think new brakes make a big difference anyway so if you are happy with the 280's feel then stick with em.
  16. What like just whack it outwards???? Being a bit Naive here as i dont know!
  17. I couldn't tell you mate but they are at the bottom of rutland road so pop in and ask, am sure you will get a good straight honest answer!
  18. viewtopic.php?f=17&t=97942&hilit=kips&start=270 Jump straight to page 19 for the latest info and the guy doing the re-shaping welding on the car has even registered on here to post progress (beardymat)
