Neil, before ya do that pop to the local bike shop and buy a couple of spokes and tape them together, makes the perfect tool as the bent end acts as a pretty good hook :clap:

Whatever anyone wants to charge and whatever anyone is happy to pay! cant get them anywhere but occasionally pop up on the bay for silly money.

Get someone to bond it back in if you want a quick fix but if its loose at the top it means the screen has slipped down whilst being fitted. classic fitter error in rushing it and not spacing it out till it dried properly. Water will already be in there so depends if you have funds to get it replaced and get the paint sorted if there is any rust issues under it that is, if not and all looks ok it's just the £60 excess from your policy you'll have to pay.... Dont put it off mate as once rust takes a hold it could make a right mess and leave no metal to bond a screen to full stop.

Nope that wasn't it. :D The later VRs and in the last year of Corrado production 16 and 8v cars had a higher ride height to allow for progressive rate springs to be used - the intention was to improve handling and ride quality. Yep what he say's :lol: You really have no idea how well a standard car handles when everything is new, i guess most folk have only ever driven a vr with standard suspension when it was worn out and also needing new axle bushes etc, i can tell you that it is nothing like that when all the bits are new... As for looks i like em the way they were made to be :lol: But hey thats just me. :grin:

Ah good stuff, make sure you put plenty of grease around the ball and plastic bush too! keeps it running smooth. I also uses some water pump pliers to push/squeeze it into place over the ball.
