Ok well i'll be on anyway. Im happy to do whatever everyone else wants to do. I like to set it up so only the same car can be used, keeps the a level playing field.

The Corrado fuel guage is known for being inaccurate, but only to a point. If you've changed the gauge it maybe worth doing the above ^^^ or even changing the sender which sits ontop of the pump
-
Going to be on within the hour. Anyone else up for some online racing?
-
Yup, i agree with you there Phil. The cars are sh!te at handling and if you try to accelerate whilst trying to drift round a bend, its easy to spin it.
-
Ok i'll take another look tomorrow James, thanks for the help.

I havent checked the plugs yet, but i will tomorrow. My thoughts are that ive either disturbed something or put the leads back on in the wrong firing order. I say this because although the car was misfiring before i messed with the leads, it did run and could be driven. But now its misfiring immensely and cannot be driven. Could this be coinicidence? The coilpack doesnt have any numbers on it that i can see. Unless they're on the underneath of the car pack, but why would they put the numbers on the underside of the coilpack :cuckoo:

Hi all, I've been trying resolve a slight misfire on my gfs 1.0 litre Lupo. It developed a random multiple misfire which would disappear, but its got to the point where it would misfire as soon as you apply the throttle more then half. So i took a look at the HT leads, they looked past it. So i took the air box on top of the engine off and put some insulation tape round the top of the plugs as a temporary measure til i could get some more, but its even more. Its idling terribly and its misfiring which sounds like on more then one cylinder... it awful and now undrivable. As soon as the throttle is applied now the engine tries to stall. So i went to EPC and bought a new set of leads thinking this would cure the problem. But nope, its just as bad if not slightly worse. Now its had a coilpack in the past and that didnt cure the slight misfire. As a precaution could anyone tell me which HT lead goes into which plug on the coilpack - doesnt appear to be labelled. Need to rule out the school boy error of putting 2 of them in the wrong way round. Or if anyone could point me in the direction of a diagram. I've asked this question on the clublupo forum, but not had any responses. Need this sorted as the gf needs the car for work. Cheers all.

 well as long as its made people smile haha! you wont be able to play GT5 online with me, as you wont be able to stop laughing knowing im sat at the ironing board haha.
-
Ok ok here you go... this will get you laughing ready for you NY parties. Sorry for the quality of the pics, but i did it quickly and got laughed at by the gf. The ironing board is normally sat slightly further away from the sofa. Bear in mind im only a small chap at 5ft 5, i can actually get the bottom of my legs and feet under where the legs cross, the pedals sit underneath. I also need a few cushions :dorky:  God, what abuse have i opened myself up for!?
-
Now i like that, but its not a patch on the ironing board tbh :?

 What you do in your own home is your business.

Definitely a class setup!! Have you thought about going to market with them?! Haha cheers for the love guys, had great fun making it  . Yeah I reckon I could do a flat pack version to post. Whats it worth??? :cuckoo:  Matt make me one and i'll send you a packet of skittles and a half eaten packet of prawn flavoured crisps. I may start to market my setup though, buy a £15 ironing board, cover off, spray it black and resell it as a steering wheel stand for £45 :norty: Tom - thanks for the pic  silly ass   haha good point, how DID you take that pic?
-
 that my man is brilliant! I love it!!!! Oh and dont worry i havent forgotten, just had chance to set it up. I'll get you a pic dont worry. BUT if im going to show you my class ironing board set up. I want to see other people's setups too. :D

Possibly changing them for normal Hex bolts instead of those horrible allen head bolts. -
Not sure if they'll pop up or not. I would hope they do though. Cant help you too much with cars to buy as ive not got anything particularly special as ive been spending my money modding lesser cars. The BMW M3 is pretty good though :D How far have you got so far? ive not played it for a week or so now, must get back on it and get that pic for you all  Matt - thats crazy, that defeats the object of the game really doesnt it. Meh, more fool them for spending £40-50 on a game just to jump passed alot of it.
-
damn it!!! Only today i bought a set of HT leads for the girlfriends Lupo :( Though i did pop into the shop not online.

Is he replacing the bolts or retapping the carriers? -
Not got the Mclaren MP4-12C, but have driven it. Once you get used to it, its a brilliant car, though a bit twitchy. Anyone else get the Stealth cars, think they're bonus cars. I got them by buying GT5 through Amazon. One is the Mclaren F1 racer and the other is some mazda racer - cant remember name of it. see here - http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2010/08/ ... g-special/

Sorry mate i meant, what name are you going for? But i see you already have TheMagicalDuck. Yeah its Critical_mass88 as per CF username >>>>>> You already have a friends request, that means you must have had a name before. I'll take a look later.
-
So what are you going for?
-
 go on Tom it HAS to be TheMagicalDuck [quack] Add me to your list btw - Critical_mas88

Indeed looks a clean example to me. Though the worst part of it for me has to be that steering wheel
-
Matt - Those wheels were indeed standard on G60s at least. The back box does look aftermarket though. Dont think any OEM exhaust was chromed, plus just the shape of it doesnt look OEM. Looks as though the Gear knob has been changed, again looks too round for OEM. That 2 points to me? :norty: :D
-
I did do a few laps on your track Ryan, and if i remember rightly thats the corner/hill you have to take at like 10mph  tricky.
-
Not forgetting the badgeless grille and eyebrows as well and not forgetting what looks like a Polo steering wheel. :?
