  1. Ok, just looked at other wheels for sale and it appears i put these up for a bit much. I did price based on the tyres being pratically new and the wheels are only about a year old and in good condition apart from the odd mark. £400?
  2. Hi Matt, But ideally would be looking at £450 + postage minimum. However, saying that i need them gone so would be open to offers. Cheers Gaz
  3. BUMP no interest, im open to offers.
  4. Bump True about the 6 Branch and i have to say, ive ran both teh OEM manifold and a six branch.. preferred the OEM Mani if im honest.
  5. Done that and theres no noise from the top. However i am now thinking it is the top mounts and/or bearings.
  6. sounfs loke you need spacers
  7. As Tim said, should be fine. You could always either shave a little off the calipers or get some 3mm spacers... which you can get hubcentric ones.
  8. The VR is p....... ;-) Just kidding  Never believed the nose heavy thing myself.
  9. Yes it'll be the motor. Mine does it with the TT wipers. Its because the better/newer spring in the arms hold the wipers more firmly against the screen and the motor struggles when the screen is dry - though doesnt always do it. A new motor may or may not help, if they're still available.
  10. Yeah same here, ill prob just keep hold of it if it doesnt sell. Wonder why they dont seem to sell.
  11. really.... I hope that's not the case here too :-(
  12. ill put it on the list of things to check. :) Though if that was the case, would i expect to feel a tapping through all three pedals? Cheers
  13. Welcome aboard mate. Enjoy ownership!
  14. Added :) Also the spacers are hubcentric.
  15. I had thought that as one of them had been making that rubbery noise when turning and i again id had thought the same about them wearing and dropping it just enough to scrape. Probably worth changing them.
  16. FOR SALE VR6 Downpipe....bought as a spare from CF member - assured there are no cracks/blows. No longer needed. £40 + Postage
  17. FOR SALE 16 x 7 Cades Eros Alloys 5 x 100 ET35 in excellent condition with odd mark. The wheels are only about 12 months old and have covered around 2000 miles. Havent been used through the winter and all have been coated withe GTechniq C5 wheel protector, which has done an excellent job. Alloys come with 4 x 195/45/16 80V Kumho Ecsta tyres.. with plenty of tread on them - again, nearly new... barely scuffed. Will provide spacers that are required to be fitted.. along with longer wheel bolts. Looking for £400 + Postage. Please keep all contact within the thread. Thanks Gaz
  18. Ok will look at the coilover again. There's no noise when accelating, braking, no thuds over bumps or rattles. But will double check this. Though i did hit a speed bump pretty hard yesterday. Hope the coilover is ok. When you say crack in one of them, are you referring to the damper or springs?
  19. Ok done a little testing today and the clutch being down is irrelevant. The clicking feeling is there regardless of the clutch being pressed in or not AND the clicking only seems to happened when turning the wheel right. Cant hear anything from under the bonnet. The feeling is comin from the area of the floor the steering rack is at. Im startin to wonder if its the rack thats on its way out. But driving it feels normal and well weighted.
  20. Hi all, Got a bit of an odd issue. I noticed recently when the clutch pedal is is pushed down or being released it'll get to a particular point and ill feel a small click through the pedal. However, today i noticed that when turning the wheel with my foot on the clutch i can feel the clicking feeling also.. theres maybe 3 sequential clicks when turning the wheel left and right. Everything feels and sound normal other than this issue. I dont know if this is connected, but ive noticed the subframe on the passenger side has started to catch on speedbumps that it never used to - Ones ive gone over plenty of times before.. its always specific speedbumps though.. maybe because of the height of them. Its like the car has dropped a tad on that side to make it lower to the floor. but the coilover on that corner looks fine. I cant see anything underneath. Should i be worried that my subframe is cracked or something? Cheers
  21. Yup i think i got the second to last engine in 2008, the last one was my old returned engine. Shame really cos its been spot on since its been fitted and has covered about 50k with no issues at all and less than quoted oil consumption. The engine was £1900.
