Infact i lie, the manual says 6 litres with filter change. Though ive never put 6 litres in with a filter change, i always end up with about half a litre left from 6 litres.
-
I thought it was about 5.5L inc filter change??

Not sure if they're available from the stealers. But even if you have to make something, its just a strip of metal along the front that sandwiches the splitter to the bumper... nothing special. Just buy the bolts.

At the moment.... the Passat to be honest. Ok, went out in the corrado this weekend and loved it. But i just wont have the money to put into the corrado. Needs body work doing on it, Rear calipers need changing too. Plus i'll need something more reliable to get me to work and back.

Does anyone remember the 80's and 90's game Elite?
Critical_Mass replied to Portent's topic in Off-topic Chat
My brother who is 6 years older than me was really into Elite. Had it on the Amiga 500. I tried it myself but just couldnt figure it out. Wasnt my type of game - didnt involve blowing up aliens or running cars around a track lol -
and thats another issue. Mine sat outside in the elements. Ive no garage to put it in.

Im possibly going to be in that position in the next couple of weeks - having to get rid of one the 2 cars. Do i put the corrado back on the road as daily or keep the passat PD130 1.9tdi estate and sell the rado on. Head says keep the passat, heart is telling me differently... Tough choice

I'll just echo what those above have said. Using a corrado as a daily is generally fine as long as the maintenance is kept on top of. I will say one thing though using mine as a daily for 6 years has taken its toll on the paint work - stop chips, bits of rust, scratches etc :(

Look on the back mate. Get a flat head screwdriver and you can prize the back panel off. Make sure when you fully remove the inside that the switch is facing upwards (front of switches facing up) as there are bits inside which will fall out. Edit - oh and to get the actual switches out of the dash it probably easier and safer (as to not damage anything), to remove the instrument bincacle and push the switch out from the back. Careful not to lose the metal clips that hold the lights into the dash. Once out, do the above.

Infact, good call. I'll change my mind to this. The BMC CDA is awesome on my VR!

Def V-Maxx, dont fit them.. terrible ride. Unless you're only bothered about getting low.

Buy a whistle. The high pitch will be more effective.

I got the one in b&q also, was reduced to £60.. so i guess its been reduced further. Not the best quality and a bit flimsy. But does the job. Just lined the draws with some rubber padding.

Lower your car they said, it would be fun they said!!!!

Surely the plastic liner would have been melted/scorched. As above it doesnt look to have been that much contact if any. BUt that wouldnt explain the rapidly decreasing tread. -
Ok mate. thats fine, just let me know :D
