Breaking 1993 Bordeaux Red VR6, FULL LIST OF PARTS LEFT ADDED

Hi mate, How much for both front wings and bonnet. Assuming there's no rust. -
Mine started off like this. The speedo would be irratic and sometimes not work at all. This has developed into the whole instrument cluster not working then suddenly after 5 mins of driving itd start working, flashing lights and all - as if the ignition just been turned on. Even the MFA button didnt work. Now its just the fuel/temp guage will stop working whilst driving. V odd. My point was, this is how mine started, but arent sure if its a knackered instrument cluster or ingition switch or something else.

You undo both fuel pipes, careful as a little bit of fuel will come out. Unscrew the black colour - may need a large screw driver and hammer to knock it round to loosen it a bit. Remove it along with the lid and rubber seal. The white lid is connected to the fuel pump with pipes, but you should be able to move it out of the way to get your hand in the tank. then you twist the fuel pump about 90 degrees, maybe not even that and it should come off the bottom of the tank - how hard it'll be to do that i dont know. Cos on mine it too me a while to do it, for others its been easy. Also obviously do it with as little fuel in the tank as possible. -
You need a short length of silicone pipe to fit the CDA to the MAF and a metal bracket to support the CDA from the side of the engine. Did you get the metal collar that goes around the CDA? I believe Stealth Racing stock a fitting kit or at least the correct size silicone pipe. This thread may be of some use - some pics towards the end. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?37190-BMC-CDA-how-is-yours-set-up&highlight=BMC+CDA

swapping a crank sensor and cam sensor - how to guide anyone?
Critical_Mass replied to jpowell79's topic in Engine Bay
i think its size 7, but with dirty in the allen bolt could make it slip and round off. -
swapping a crank sensor and cam sensor - how to guide anyone?
Critical_Mass replied to jpowell79's topic in Engine Bay
Both are held in with just a small allen head bolt. The cam sensor is behind the coilpack, so remove this and you'll see the sensor. The Crank sensor is on the front of the engine and has to be accessed from under neath. It sites just near the oil filter housing, again held in by an allen head bolt - its fiddly to get to. -
£16 for multi fit attachments... good price if the quality is there.

When you say stuttering do you mean misfiring. Could be the damp weather causing arching at the coilpack. DOes it clear up once the car gets up to temp? -

this ^^^ Finding a car for £100 is easy, finding one road worthy WITH MOT for £100 wont be so easy.
