  1. Hi Nath, If you let me know how much for the keyrings i'll forward the payment :D
  2. To an extent he's accountable but as already said, death by dangerous driving and banned from driving?!
  3. The above is my very reason for getting them as they came recommended by those who had owned them. I agree he has a point but i dont think it happens on this forum too much.. unlike somewhere like ED38, where if something LOOKS GOOD, it gets raped - 'wheel whore' stickers spring to mind. Where as with something like the KWs they are popular because they perform well and are worth the £££s. You wouldnt buy a different suspension knowing they're not as good, for the sake of being different would you?
  4. i think VRs generally have a rough idle, not normally anything to worry about. Though it maybe worth taking the ISV off and giving it a good clean. As for the windscreen knob, again it maybe worth taking it the controls out and checking everything is free to move. The cables may need changing as they wear with age.. not a hard job just fiddly. Can you hear the flaps moving when you turn the direction knob? btw in case you dont know. Dont try turning the direction knob with teh fan set to 4 as apparently it strains the knob (ooeer ) and can cause it to snap on its spindle. Oh and the heater lights are generally cr@p. If you do a search there's a thread about how to mod the console lights.. i think JMC did a thread on it if you search for author. HTH Gaz
  5. guiness book of records for the worlds largest lego structure? :-)
  6. I can see where you're coming from, but its not illegal to ask someone else whos been drinking too, to drive. His wife should have said no, though you would have thought he would have had the sense to think not to ask. i wouldnt dream of putting my other half in that situation.
  7. I wouldnt say its been a sheep as people (myself included) buy them for being good quality and they ride brilliantly. Now if it was purely for looks you could argue people are being sheep. If its about how good you can drive your corrado, imo the KWs are perfect for this. Not sayin the Weitecs arent any good for this, as ive never owned them.
  8. Bodywork? It looks fantastic in the pic :D Love the username btw... something about it that makes me chuckle :D
  9. Back to the car  Looks minty mint! i think the wheels work really well on it! Any more pics?
  10. So whats the driver got? So if he knew the driver was drunk but hadnt got in the car and the accident still happened. Would he have been prosecuted still?
  11. All you'd need to build then is a scale size chassis. It would be great to make a scale size working model :D Un-related but i just purchased some lego for making a scale model of a small one bedroom flat (don't ask...) Any who, about 1000 pieces altogether and that makes approximately a 1:25 scale model of a flat about 36sqM in size. That cost me £100 and the model is only about 300mm wide and 50mm high :? to make a full size rado id hate to think how much you would need to spend! :gag:[/quote:1vex8rn7] None... i've got enough up in the loft to allow me to build a full scale Corrado  although it will look a little psychedelic in all the different colours
  12. You'd be able to spend loooads of time together... under the car covered in oil..... Maybe not a good idea ey.
  13. I'd say water pump too. The car is getting hot very quickly even for the thermostat to be stuck shut... it stays shut until its up to temperature anyway.
  14. Erm nope, it's completely different... and a fair bit Uglier than last year's car... oh and in very "Mclaren" style colour scheme albeit Silver/black (as is the Sauber too.. damn it Peter paint it PINK!) Get away! Really? From the pic i saw it looked more or less the same!? Maybe if they were side by side  This is the pic i saw - against They're not terribly different from those pics. I have to say I like the new car actually.
  15. I've had this too - glad im not the only one! pheeew! i get it just braking gently when in reverse, its not a quiet squeak either, its the most horrendous squeak! It sounds bad! Must be the cold.
  16. Just dont let on to Tom that your available
  17. All you'd need to build then is a scale size chassis. It would be great to make a scale size working model :D
  18. Thats ACE! BUT check out the larger version on page 1 i think. :D
  19. Yeah it does look like a very long wheel base, but i think its an illusion. I like the Renault too. No suprise but the mercedes brawn looks near identical to the old one bar the colour scheme. Its nice in a grey colour
  20. Well the one i got was about £69 so maybe that wasnt a genuine part either. But its done/doing the job.
  21. 12th March mate. tee he. Can't wait. Me either, i think its going to be a really good season! :D
  22. 12th March mate. For count down  - http://www.formula1.com/ Has the new Renault car on there as well
  23. i would imagine £30 was for the fronts... sounds about right. The rears are double that.
  24. Hahaha! I spent a while scratching my head with this also BV. Its the drivers side thats 10mm lower yeah? Its due to the engine sitting further to one side of the engine bay then the other. I would never have thought of this unless someone told me on another thread. I adjusted the drivers side coilover a bit to balance it out. Also the rear drivers side may also sit lower, due to the fuel tank. Have a search there's a thread somewhere where this was discussed. Most probably the suspension discussion thread. HTHs Gaz
