Advice on KW sport and OE suspension with std wheels/tyres
Critical_Mass replied to James.'s topic in Drivetrain
Thats exactly the kind of comment I was looking for. To be fair I wouldn't have expected any different. Though I'd like to find an image of them on a Corrado and at least hear from a couple of people who have them fitted. Anybody out there with them bolted on ? yup! They are superb. They're hard enough to improve cornering no end, but not too hard to make them back breakers like other coilovers can be - esp with the roads over here  I wouldnt change them for anything else tbh honest, well worth the money. -
Been running my VR on 10W40 fully synthetic synta gold for a while and had no probs. Take a look in your handbook :D

Buttons lady to be honest, she is very attractive Woof Woof! :D Nicole isnt ugly, but not really found her attractive.

IM obviously misremembering then, i thought you'd been sent incorrect springs which made the front of the car sit too low. -
i think 8/10 modern cars fall into the bland catagory. Its just the way car design has gone. Not saying that really stands out but it isnt ugly.

3cm - didnt they send you valver springs by accident though? -
   i bet it will help though! seen some of the things he has been saying to Alonso, think he is more up for it this year which is a good sign Thought he dumped her a while ago and they got back together... or did they and he's dumped her again? Whats been said to Alonso? EDIT - ^^^ ah 'reigniting the fued' with Alonso. Really cant wait for the season to start! :D :D :D
-
That was my first thought, the back end looks like an A5. I like it!
-
I would suspect that is the problem with the front suspension Jim, the spring rating will be for the heavier VR lump - as you say. I went off the Autoglym stuff after having bad results from it on my current motor. Though that was before i gave the car a good claybar. But i may just may give them ago again.
-
Aye Jim, that is one nice looking Corrado. The paint looks mint! Even the trim looks blacker. 8) What you been using polish/wax wise? When i had my Flash red 8v i always found it was the sun that brought the orange out.
-
Another Flash red vote here :D I too think it looks orangy too. Jim - any chance of some more pics of your car with the borbets on. I've just bought some ATS 6 spoke wheels from Nathan (C488ADO) which look identical to the Borbets Cs and wondering how they will look once fitted.
-
Think that's what did happen? My bad if not. Sorry you meant the car behind checking dash or whatever not the car infront didnt you. my bad.... :D
-
Good point. But checking the engine temp on the dash, would be done stationary and wouldnt involve moving out of the junction then suddenly stopping.
-
I like mate! :D Not sure if you can split the fogs and indicators.
-
Jude, i hope it doesnt snow again your way, as you'll have to de snow all three cars again  :gag:
-
Come on guys, no need to argue. Monkey - Yeah sure he'll get the blame, but you know how it is when morons start to pull out when they see a huge gap, then decide to stop. Its an unfortunate situation :( Hope things get sorted.

I just searched for the miltek sports cat ... http://www.millteksport.com/exhaust.pro ... iantid=122 ... It says that I'll need the miltek sport cat back system too ... am i looking at the right one? Is there a sports cat that will fit directly on to what I already have? Is there any that you can suggest? Nah mate thats not the case at all. I have it fitted to a raceland manifold and supersprint exhaust.
-
If you want to allow more flow through the exhaust imo the best way is the sports cat. Just fitted a miltek sports cat to my vr and it definately feels more pokey. As for decatting it - it is a legal requirement for any car after 92 needs a CAT. So you will need to refit the CAT for MOT time. The advantage of the sports CAT is, although it costs a bit more, is it will still pass its MOT whilst fitted, while still allow the exhaust gases to flow better. Though it really does depend if you mind refitting the CAT once a year. Also, im not sure, but police may do spot checks by putting a probe up your exhaust (oooeeeer ) to check the emissions - maybe someone could clarify that?

Missing door/wing mirror glass! Is it theft!!??
Critical_Mass replied to rustyturret's topic in General Car Chat
Very odd - a thief with a conscience? Im gonna throw something out there and say it sounds like another Corrado owner who them self are missing a wing mirror glass. Why would a thief that doesnt own a corrado take a corrado mirror glass, esp with care!? I hope that's not the case though! Very odd. -
OK, I know I shouldn't, really, but I have to ask - who is Caroline ? lol Its one of Joes many alias'. Take a read a number of pages back
