If they're shorter springs then OEM to lower the car, its generally adivsed to get shorter shocks too. Or buy standard springs. You'll find the suspension will always bottom out and will shorten the life of your springs. Got a set of springs and shockers -40mm if youre interested - £100 +postage or collection.

The new (06 on?) corsa is actually pretty good. Much better drive and better equipped than the 3cyl fabia or grande punto. The car enthusiast's pick of non car enthusiast orientated cars if you like, and every review says how surprisingly well it drives. Its no Porsche though :lol: yeah heard a few times that the new corsa isnt bad and although it may perform well and it is better looking then previous models.... its still a corsa.

Do you mean a G60 charger or a different one to replace the original? You can get a G60 for £500 maybe less if you look around. Seen them on ebay for £300-400. Whats up with the one you have, is it not servicable?

And can the 9" rears fit ok on the back with between a -60 and -40mm drop, with out stretch tyres. Or are the stretch tyres a must? What would be a nice stretch on the 9" rear and 7.5" fronts?

Yep, my VR steams up really well in the rain, and the screen vents do bugger all to clear it, I reckon I can fart harder than my number 4 fan speed. Might have the glove box out to see if the blower ducts are all marrying up still?? heh yeah it doesnt help with mine blower that the direction knob is knackered and is set between the windscreen and the dash vents, so you end up getting a little bit of hot air out of both as opposed to getting all the air out of one or the other. :lol:

Well what i want is a set of 16s (diameter), i also want them staggered. So would 9s on the rear and 7.5s on the front be ok? Or is that what you are saying are uncomfortable? It gets used daily and i want a compromise hence going for the 16s as opposed to 17s, just not sure on what width.

Herisites, the 'VR6' badge on the front, which one is it? Is it one from a mk3 golf, a Passat one or a Corrado one? I ask because i put a mk3 golf BR6 badge on my grille and it looks too big. SOmeone on here was saying the actual corrado grille badge is the same size. But im sure ive seen a rado on here with a small VR6 badge - the Corrado OEM badge. Sorry if that sounds confusing, i was confused typing it :lol: Im just wondering if the there IS a smaller actually corrado VR badge.

Ah i can live with the boot thing. But all three of the corrado ive owned steam up really easily, anyone else noticed that? Today the heavens just opened up, really hard rain but for only about 5 minutes. The all the car's windows just steamed up completely.

Need a deep set spanner, itll be long enough too. Also get hold of a allen key with a handle. I got one from motorsave for about 7 quid. Its 7mm. I then pushed on the allen key and bounced on the spanner and in no time at all the nut was loose.

Erm... whats this about not liking the ride on them, was it just your setup or in general? Oh and what size are the wheels? both front and back, diameter and width?

Yeah, i got rid of them before i put my supercharger on as i needed bigger brakes and these only just cleared standard brakes with spacers AND with a bit of carrier shaving!! Plus having big wide heavy wheels with hardly any rubber on them wasn't doing wonders for the ride which would have been a big problem with an extra 70bhp through the wheels so i sold them and replaced with some nice lightweight BBS RX's which still look nice just not as mean, but they clear 288's and 312's so i can stop the thing which helps :lol: After a set of these myself from Dubmeister, are they plug and play as such - No need for spacers etc?

:lol: i am exactly the same. If someone wants to slate it then i have nothing to say to them because 99.99% of the time they have never drove one or even seen one before to make bad comments on it. However if they just dont like it but respect that i do then thats fine, each to their own and all that just like i respect if someone likes their 1.2 corsa with a 5" exhaust on :lol: For example the other day was chatting to a bird and she was pretty cool at first because she likes cars and motorbikes and even more rare is she likes the classics, but if i didnt like the car's she liked she would slate me and when i said that i am mainly in to corrados and mk1 golfs she said she didnt like them which was fine but then she started slating them, well that was the end of that conversation, see ya :wave: Cough... 1.2 corsa.... cough.
