Salut you sir! :salute: Great saving. But as you says its a good job you checked. I never take the renewal figure as true, i always see if someone can get it lower. Though mine is almost 2x price of your renewal figure.

Yes the engine will still turn over. When mine was on its way out it also developed a pause. Though im not sure about the buzzing, can you tell where its coming from?

im going to say the good ol' ignition switch.

I think generally all after market exhausts have a seperate back box section.

Numerous times ive found my self squinting to see if they're indicating or not. Especially if the headlights are exceptionally bright. I think its a bad idea having indicators in the headlights.

BMW 1-Series Coupe - What does everyone think ?

 Im with you on that mate! BMW has always had trouble getting the indicators to work. -

'....things under your bonnet." ;) But yeah i agree - exterior

Same here. I also used some bathroom sealant to seal where the wires connected into the relay holder.

Over the last couple of weeks ive noticed when i've flashed main beam to let people out of junctions etc, that they were taking ages to respond, im frantically flashing to let them know they can go. I said to the girlfriend - 'how come people are taking a while to see me flashing, or are they being stupid?' Anyway, turns out that my full beam isnt working, so flashing doesnt do anything other then turn the main beam off to side lights IF i have the headlights on? Any ideas why i would have main beam and dipped but not flash? Lose wire?

Weird, never seen that happen on the rear. Are you sure you pressed the rotor onto the disc fully and didn't buckle it in the process? No i made sure i didnt buckle them. Maybe i didnt push it right on, i was being careful not to bend it whilst trying to get it onto the disc, so it is possible i was being TOO careful and it wasnt werent on correctly.

Yeah its a strange one with Raikkonen and kovalainen, i think ill stay clear of them for now  hmmm... i'd love to steer clear of Raikkonen too now, especially as he's one of my nominated drivers - but a c*ck up a few racesd back means i've used up my transfer opportunities and have to just ride it out with him and my other equally underwhelming choices this season. :cuckoo: Raikkonen has a habit of 'going off' and then suddenly 'coming back on' towards the end of the racing calender.

You can get a ''sniffer' test done, to see if the headgasket has gone, wouldnt cost much at all id imagine. The lack of read out on the dash could be as you say a broken wire or a duff sensor. Sorry i cant be of more help.

Only one option really then not three - 20-25 miles. :D

I can't really relate to this tbh, as i use my rado as a daily and love driving it everyday. But i can understand you feeling the need to sell it due to lack of use. If that's the case, then sell it and let someone else enjoy it ;) Either that or START USING IT MORE OFTEN!

do you rub the paint down before you laquer? if so, how? everytime i try it looks crap. just done another wheel and its come out pretty rubbish, i think i'm going to have to sand it all back again :( Im considering doing mine again, i didnt sand before laquering. Which is probably why they've pitted so easily. Then again im after a new set of wheels.

Ok, no worreis. They're there if you change your mind

Well like i say mate, mines alot quieter then it was when i first had it fitted, so there's still hope ;) How many miles have you covered since fitting it, what manifold is it? i havent fitted a manifold, my car had a miltek exhaust which was so nice and sounded soo nice, but the cat rattled really badly so following the suggestion of the garage i use i had a de-cat pipe fitted and it has made the noise ever since! :( Ah but it will be the same concept of the air (exhaust) rushing through a clean pipe. It should still quieten down.

Got a set of FK lowering springs and shockers, fitted for about 6 months -£100 + p&p. Is it a VR you own?
