Ooops, teach me for scanning.... Yup is a bit pricey!

An extra £80 isnt too bad, considering age and the length of time she's been driving.
-
It is alot of money for, like you said so little. But it'll prove invaluable in bad weather.
-
Thanks for confirming that. I need to do this mod that so many of you have already done. As well as the headlight loom.
-

Fecking hell. Very pricey considering. YOu have to get 2x passenger side, is that due to the length of the drivers side?

Its just the volume of the stereo as your driving. You slow down the volume decreases, you speed up the volume increases. I find them pretty annoying myself.

£100 just for the wipers!? Or do you have to change the wiper arms as well?

cheesewire, Is the oil control ring the bottom one around the piston (sorry if dumb Q)? I have exactly the same problem with my VR. Im currently using 15w40 oil instead of 10w40. It has brought oil consumption down a bit. How is a leakdown test carried out? I know the plugs will get oiled up thus will reduce effectiveness and also the performance of the engine will drop. But if new spark plugs were fitted, would the performance still be lack due to the oil/fuel mixture being burnt within the cylinders?
-
dont think you could use a golf vr one. Someone could come and correct me though. Why not just use a corrado one???
-
The filter should clip onto the screw lid. There's black clips in the centre of the lid, which clip into the hole of the oil filter. Not sure whether it matter which way round the filter goes.

Could earn a few bob if peeps on here wanted theres customising.

What £10 site is this?
-
Well there is that, but i suppose if you're the only owner you'll know if its been in a bash or not. But i suppose it'd be a bit of security if the buyer got one too. Keep you one step ahead incase they try something on.

Show off! Love the car Pau1, has to be one of the nicest, if not THE nicest C's about. That green is lush!

 bought a set of the VW top trumps from the bay £30 cost me. Not sure whether it was worth it or not. Got them for my nephew who i never see playing with them, although he loves vw's
-
Yup, i always thought it was the buyer who did this, however the last 2 Cs i bought already had it done. He wants it checking so let him pay for it! OR put the £40 onto the price of the car

hmmm yeah never thought of the relays. It doesnt seem to do it ALL the time. Sometimes (like at the moment) its not there. Have to have a listen and get it replaced. Cheers nocrap!

Ok, So im sat in traffic and there seems to be a ticking noise coming from either behind the dash or engine bay. Its a fast tick and it sounds like its coming from the spoiler switch area of the dash. Once ive set off it disappears and stays gone until im idling again. Again once the accelerator is pressed whether im revving engine or setting off, it goes. I say it could also be from under the bonnet because i stuck my head out of the window and it sounded as if it was coming from the drivers front wing or at least that side of the engine bay. Any ideas? Theres nothing gone wrong with the car to be able to say the ticking is due to "X". All i know is its driving me mad.
