  1. Wasnt quite as bad as sun stroke but not far off. It was beautiful weather! 8) Where abouts where they?
  2. That's what i thought. I recently had 2 new front tyres fitted and the garage didnt say there was any play in either of the wheels. Is a wheel bearing easy to DIY?
  3. 45_1_b.jpg from Ballys collection of monstrocities- looks like Darth Vaders daily driver! I know its not some numpty over "modding" a C, but how about this.... Not quite a C, well not a complete one, But still.
  4. Corrados at Malvern 06? I didnt see any unfortunately :( Previous year only saw the one.

 Louie Lungbubble ^ dom, we've all done something like that before mate, well some have im sure. You'll get the knack of it.
  6. Hi all, Ive noticed a whining niose coming from somewhere, I cant tell where the source of the sound exactly is. All i can say is that when im driving it seems to be coming from the passenger side of the car. The only way i can describe it as is like a wind noise, like when a strong wind is going through a passage way, a howling noise. With windows open its no louder. However, sometimes its louder then other times. I've tried putting the clutch down at speed to see if it quitens down or goes completely when the engine revs lower, but still no change. It becomes more apparent at higher speeds, not present when stationary or going along in traffic. I was thinking maybe its a wheel bearing as i also get a squeek sometimes when i set off from standing, but goes after a second or two. What you think? Cheers
  7. I like it, granted the back looks odd. I prefer the rear on red one in the drawings.
  8. There are standard corrado models out there though. My girlfriend has got me a dark burgandy VR on order for me, for xmas. Has speedlines on it. http://www.gtmodels.co.uk/diecastsearch.php
  9. Ive had that one too. Also had yesterday "Its a skirocco you have isnt it" wasnt even "sCHirocco".

  11. Sorry to hear that bud. I had a Vibe sub with built in amp nicked one time, the stupid feckers broke the connections in the process of ripping the wires off. The all need culling! Got a pair of so-so amps laying around not being used if you want them, just pay for the postage tis all mate.
  12. Cheers for that! TBH i havent seen any 15/50 only ever seen 40 or 30. I know halfords range of oils only seem to be 5/40, 10/40 or 15/40.
  13. what about 15/40, is that ok?
  14. Yeah hitting a pot hole can damage a tyre like that. The only way to go is to get it replaced. Damage like that to the tyre wall cannot be repaired. Plus its the part of the tyre that takes the most punishment when in use, with cornering etc. So id be safe and get a new one anyway even IF it could be repaired.
  15. Give it time mate they will reply. If youve got pictures of the damage and of the hole you shouldnt have no problems. I damaged my wheel in November 05 and finally got a paid out in August 06. The council may send you a letter saying they do not accept responsibility and then refer the claim to their contractors who actually fix the roads.

took my car to a garage, in the process they took the ht leads out. The bloke did say they had a job on getting the leads off (i forgot to leave them the tool ). A couple of weeks later i came to take the leads off, i noticed one that had split at the base, just above where the metal part starts. It looks like they had broken it and tried glue it back together, I say its looks as though it's being glued cos there looks like theres a bit of dried glue in the split. My question is, would this make the plug stop doing its job properly? The split doesnt go all the way round nor does it leave anything exposed.
  17. Ah yes, now i see. The blurred effect makes it look very deceiving.
  18. Mave, can i ask you a question and it may possibly be a daft q too? Is you signature pic a model car? The back looks like a full scale rado, but the front looks like a model. Oh and going by the size of the car in the background incomparison to yours, makes it look tiny.
  19. Knight Rider.... I was thinking the same thing. Not sure whether i like them or not.
  20. No i swear its exactly the same, first time ive seen one on ebay. I only wish id had bought it while i had the chance.
  21. Seen ones on Ebay like that for about £20, wasnt sure of the make though. They're nicely detailed models. I bought a similar one from the Standford hall show, its not as detailed as that though.
  22. You may want to get something to give the hole some scale. Place an item next or in the hole. I used a lighter and it showed the depth of the hole. Just make sure you get down low and level with the hole.
  23. No expert but i cant see how larger tyres can go on small rims. I could be wrong though. Smaller tyres can be stretched to fit the rims, larger tyres cant be shrunk. Sorry if i didnt help much
