  1. poop! Is each key unique, thus another key not being able to be used on a different set of bolts? I bought the locking nut removal kit from Halfords, but found both adaptors were too large to grip the nut. Also the trouble with buying another key, i fear it too will just end up breaking as the nut is on that tight. Whacking a socket over the nut and still not being able to get it off may result in the socket being stuck on. Drilling it out will be a right task too. Any other ideas?
  2. Me either until i saw a re-run of top gear today. Tiff Needell was on and showed his name as Timothy "Tiff" Needell.
  3. Ive had both my unlocking keys broken today by HALFORDS!!!! went to get 2 new tyres and the nut was on that tight it sheered the inside of the keys off. Im gonna now have to wack a socket on the nuts and try to get them off. grrrr! Can these keys be bought seperately???
  4. Apologies no offence intended. I mean't the amount of power the LEARNER drive has under their foot, which some may find unmanagable due to inexperience. Or that being lucky enough to learn in a corrado, i learnt in a nissan almera, plane boring. I wish i could have had the chance to learn in a corrado.
  5. Agree^ If i went to the asda for a few things at the same time and the same distance, and just because i work full time and dont have a family to support, does that mean i should pay more!? The whole idea is ridiculous. We should be free to travel where we want when we want. We all pay road tax, insurance and outrageous petrol prices. I think we have the right.
  6. I thought that too. Who was the lucky/not so lucky (which ever way you want to look at it) individual that is learning to drive in a rado?
  7. Regarding the E-bay system- It shouldnt be necessary as we should be able to trust those one the forum, which so far I have and have had no problems with dealing with members.
  8. Loved it the comments, and the comments made towards hamster by james may. Id vote for clarkson over any of candidates we have now. Hopefully he'd ban all over modded cars from being on the road and abolish road tax :D
  9. Trig, Isn't all this part of owning such a car, things breaking. The ups and the downs come with a car like the corrado. Hopefully the ups will out weigh the downs. Stick in there matey.... ive thought about getting rid of the rado before myself. But when i think i could end up driving some boring common car, i think no ill stick with it. Even if it has to be off the road for a while or something has to stay broken for a while. The bits youve listed sound easy enough to sort, and if you feel you dont have the experience or knowledge to fix the problem (like myself more often then not) there is ther forum to help you out. Hope you make the right choice in the end :thumb right:
  10. He obviously doesnt know what he's on about and is blind! Nothing wrong with a Lupo 1.2 though, the girlfriend has a Lupo1.1 SE, nice little car.... for a girl though
  11. Is it a G60 bud? If so that could be the boost test that can be performed on the G60. Sorry not much help with the pipe. Someone will be along to help you out.
  12. They look far from ugly!! What car does your mate drive Joniboy?
  13. Probably, like whats being said. Its 93 onwards. Saying that my VR is 93 K.
  14. Yeah get a flat head screw driver and a large hammer and try to make the cross shape open up a bit. Then get a LARGE cross head screw driver and put as much pressure on as poss and turn slowly. May sound crazy but sometimes tightening the screw can make it a bit easier when you come to loosen it.
  15. Yeah that definately looks like a hole. Could be filled and smoothed easily, surely. Correct me if im wrong but it looks Flash red, given the orangy-ish tint. Dont see alot of flash reds about but im sure a front bumper in that colour could be sourced.
  16. Hmmmm i can feel the G60 or VR debate coming  pros and very few cons for both. I went from a G60 to a VR never regretted it, however i loved the G60. The choice is yooours! :D
  17. Was talking to a work colleague who was looking on the autotrader when the gal sat next to him said "Gaz (moi) you getting a new car, you need a new car, a modern one. Yours is too old". I said WHAT! modern cars have no character. I then asked her what my car was...guess what she couldn't tell me what it was (no the I didnt already know )
  18. YES definately Borbets. g60greeny, those wheels on yours look mint matey! :D id lurrrve a set of those.
  19. Ditto.... i dont mind it, ive seen uglier cars then that before.
  20. Id have to agree with you there Jim. Other then a few Corrados, ive only owned a '99 pug 106 and a cr@ppy Rover Metro, which rusted away. However i would really REALLY love to be able to own a Bugatti Veyron or a Mclaren merc SLR, oh and a TVR Cerbera, sagaris or T350. A Corrado is realistic, and i love it and look after it. But back down to earth. I really love the MKII Golf and the Seat Leon both '06 and '00
  21. have you got an uprated headlight loom?
  22. Mine was a J 92 G60, passed with no probs on MOT. I think its K reg onwards isnt it?
