hmmm sound very keen to get rid of em especially when youreafter a set of bbs that NEED refurb? btw i realised to day either its being nicked or fallen off but on the n/s rear wheel the bbs centre has gone. centre cap still there though. How much would you sell wheels for if you were going to sell em. what actually are they, whats reason for sale? and i dunno if theyre crosswires but theyre what came with G60 orig

so again begs the question, can you get the speedo adjusted when 17s are fitted?

i havea set of 15" bbs, but they could do with refurbing especially the fronts.

and the speedo adjustment?

can you get teh speedo problem sorted out? what if i got tyre size 205/35/17?

Its a G60 lads, i dont think ill be lowering it either, the trim under the front bumber already scrapes on the ground over some speed bumps as it is. Anyone recommend any niiiice wheels? ideally wanting some 5 spokes. I like the BBS (which are already on, in a sorry state i might add) but they take alot of looking after and are a pain in the jacksey to clean properly. Thats why im avoiding them this time.

Im am looking to get a set of 17" alloy wheels. Will i get away with 17s without experience any rubbing of the arches or it affecting the speedo? If it does affect speedo or archs, what is the max size? Also will a 17" alloy with tyre fit in the well of the boot where the current spare is? if not what does everyone else do with it? just leave it in the boot? Cheers

ok ill check tomorrow and let you guys know, So the int light, cig light, sunvisor light and also mfa not working properly/at all is linked to this one problem? sorry if i sound dumb, just double checking to save future unnecessary questions.

thanks for the reply lads!!!! can someone however conclude what im to do to fix it. now ive read what youve all put i forgot to say that the interior light, cig light and light in the sunvisor did stop working too. Ive checked fuses cant see one thats blown.

no the whole lot resets itself, the clock even resets itself. Dodgy wiring maybe? or something more serious?

Hello, Im now worried to hell. Im pretty sure the MFA on my G60 was working properly after i bought it. However it has started to reset itself once ignition is turned off, is this a 100% sign its has being clocked or can there be another reason why this is happening? the car had done 106k from 1991 (year of reg) The bloke i bought it off said he got it HPi checked and i have the docs. Is there anything else it could be? Also is the radio suppose to turn itself off when ignition is off and on when ignition is turned on? Cheers :cry:

HAHAHA!!! im not that old, ive grown up with all these fecking corsas and festers etc. AND not ONCE have i wanted to do up a 1.1 pug 106 or a corsa. I feel sorry for them more then anything.

well lads i couldnt agree more with what youre all saying! Glad to hear im not the only one who despises these morons. Anyone else on here tired of seeing corsas modded up to hell, then you see the back and it has 1.2 on it. Shameful! I feel embarrassed for the lot of them!

OK OK i know it primarily campers etc. But i was wondering if anyone went to vanfest this weekend. Saw a couple of corrados, one G60 for sale too. It was my first time at vanfest having only got into the VeeDub craze about a year ago, due to the girlfriend and her family. But i thought the show was fantastic!!! Ive previously being to lutterworth which was also EXCELLENT too! SPOT ON! :twisted:

Ive had a similar prob. When i lift of throttle like coming up to a junction, the revs drop below 800rpm and then it goes back up to normal idle revs. Running a chip myself, its running too rich, have to go get it setup correctly

Yeah ive got that currently, is it most noticeable when revging engine slightly or when changing gear? Id put it down to the tensioner pulley.

I agree with stevemac also. They look TERRIBLE, completely spoils the look of the car. Why spend the cash on getting your motor look niiiice and then spoil it by putting that stupid gurdle on it. URGH

Does anyone know of a decent body shop in or around Leeds or even west yorks where i can get a full respray for my Corrado? and also an idea of how much it'd cost. when i bought the car the drivers door was really rust, too rust to repair but the seller had another door to put on in replacement, which turned out to be darker then the car (he was goign to get it resprayed though, before he sold it). I also got a rear spoiler off of ebay which, apparently, was inca blue too. but that is also darker then the car. Does anyone know if inca blue is a darker blue or a lighter one. Need to decide whether car has bleached in sun over time and that the door and spoiler are actually the real inca blue. The door and spoiler have the same pearlescent purple in different light. Any ideas... most grateful. :?

ok had a look alst night. How the hell do you remove it? its got a crimped clip on the one end of it. My trouble is im too scared to havea go at removing things with out advice because im scared of breaking things!
