  1. Yup there is three. Forget what the black one is for. The yellow is the gauge and fans, but if replaced for new will be a black one. The blue i the ECU.
  2. Speak to Andi as he had to change the settings on mine after i started to donate. Or maybe a Mod could do it for you.
  3. Welcome to the forum matey. :D
  4. Ah Cheers Jay. I take it you offered him teh £15 and he accepted? Have to snap one of these up.
  5. The blue one is for the ECU. There is a yellow (or black if its been replaced previously) is for the gauge. If you change the yellow one then the new one will be black with a blue ring round it - 4 pin i think.
  6. Yes i heard Roger, cannot believe thye're so expensive. A new one will be a last resort i think. Will check out ebay for throttle bodies can always sell the throttle body on so recoup some cash :D
  7. CorradoChris - Maplins do the correct one. Do a search inregards to what size and voltage. You need mostly 5v 3mm or 5mm (size is up to you but 3mm should be fine) also you need slightly different voltage ones for the sunroof switch. Jason - aaah ha, it was you wasnt it. Appreciated mate, i'll prob get them done soon as i have another car ot use and corrado wont be used as a daily. Sorry its been so long haha. Probably best to send them all over and just let you get one with it... postage will be cheaper too.
  8. The window switches are a little more tricky as you have to unsolder the top of the switch before even getting to the LED solders. I got an offer from someone to do mine - which i still need to get done  But i you ask on here, someone maybe willing to do them for you. Though you'll be without switches for a couple of days.
  9. That is a Corrado bonnet stay. It does have that many kinks in it. Mines never been the same since going into the garage. It doesnt sit in the clip holder on the slam panel and always get caught between the slam panel and bonnet. Either that or it falls between the slam panel and engine.
  10. Thanks Roger. Got this issue too and its so annoying. But i need to start with getting a new throttle damper pot.
  11. Yup definately Stu. Send me the details and i'll forward payment :D
  12. Hi all, Does anyone have a pair of clips that hold the dash switches into the dash - the flat metal clips? Need a pair for my ABS light. Cheers Gaz
  13. Got something similar on my drivers side. No noise but a slight feeling of movement under my feet. Will be keeping an eye on this thread.
  14. Daft question possibly. But i picked up some Synta Platinum today and noticed it was 5w-40. Ive only ever got synta platinum in 10w-40. is the synta plat only available in 5w-40 now or have i just been given the wrong grade of oil? My engine is a recon and has done 45k and only been run on fully synthetic. so im assuming the oil will be fine anyway.
  15. well today was the dread MOT and im pleased to say it PASSED!!!! however it did have 2 advisors. The first confirms what myself and owen said and that was the play in the offside droplink. The second was parking brake efficiency only being 16% of the whole braking system. So going to have to take a look at the calipers. The brakes feel fine but the handbrake could hold the car better. It creaks alot.
  16. what a toss pot
  17. seen worse. but yeah i wouldnt rock that.
  18. sorry i was trying to be down with the kids. i meant situation
  19. Indeed Dave........ any update on the sit?
  20. I would say the O ring and the elbow, which are known to leak due to age. Its an odd place for a rad to leak, not impossible, just id say unlikely. Be prepared, if you tkae the elbow off youd be best having a replacement O ring, even a new elbow if its cracked.
