  1. Im sort of caught in the middle of the 2. I like to keep the car clean and polished etc and take care where i park it etc. But dont have the inclination to spend thousands on it and obsessing over cleaning the every little nut and bolt. If needed id spend the money on getting the body work sorted or a new engine. The engine i have done, but thats because it needed it. At the end of the day cars are meant to be used and i find it being locked up in a garage but pristine, more of a shame than it getting dents but being used. Each to their own i guess.
  2. I hope so too. We need to take a step forward. 2023.. sure i read somewhere that NASA were planning on 2017 Id like to think that NASA did make it to the moon in 1969 but we wont know for sure unless someone other than NASA reaches the moon again. The lander and rover, along with flags footprints etc are still there. But i fear it could have been hoaxed, i mean at the end of the day the mission as such was to beat the russians in the space race. Faking the landing would make sense in that regard. But i hope they did actually make it. Seems odd we've never been back there since '69
  3. Definately going with Australia. Id say B also, its the easiest and cheapest way to go and its more or less the same as the 2.9 and you have OBDII. Is a Corrado really worth the money and hassle to import when it would have to be a "race car" or damaged beyond repair. I know you'd only want the engine and drive train, but to go to all the effort and money for a broken car isnt something id recommend. My vote is B. :D
  4. Forget about the moon, aren't NASA planning on a manned misson to Mars in the next decade?
  5. Best to get the car up on the ramps and get someone to rise the revs as you lay under enough to tell where the noise is coming from. Not trying to state the obvious :? :)
  6. Yes exactly. Shame weather is crap
  7. Good point. This is the first year i wont be using the Corrado in the winter so im yet to go 4 - 5 months with out it - voluntarily that is.
  8. The car was playing up and he sold it i think and had other things going on.
  9. Shouldnt cost much mate, maybe an hour and half labour- assuming they dont have issues getting the carrier bolts out, which is possible. But thats the really only sticking point, once the carriers are off its plain sailing. It maybe wise to get some new carrier bolts just in case.
  10. I've found the opposite true for me since ive stopped driving it everyday. Things that bothered me, now dont as i dont have to put up with them on a daily basis.
  11. yup when mines been off the road i miss it like made BUT makes it extra specially when you do get to drive it.
  12. Thats fair enough mate, though its not much hassle using the spacer, but no they're not the nuts, just simple 6 spoke alloys good enough all year round, but certainly ok for just winter wheels.
  13. ill get you some pics mate. they are straight and true, but had the odd kerb mark and were stained with brake dust. but ive just sanded two of them down and repainted them in satin black. need to do the other 2. they come with tyres all have tread. 2 are proxes tr1s with about 2-3 mm tread on it. The other 2 are uniroyals, only covered about 1000 miles also the fronts will need 3mm spacers to clear the calipers. i can provide the spacers if you wish. They are 5x100 spacers and have a 57.1mm centre that fits the hub exactly. got longer bolts too if you wish also.
  14. Will have a set for sale soon if youre interested. 6 spoke ATS wheels, look similar to the borbet Cs.
  15. http://bacolicio.us/http://the-corrado.net
  16. It does, less pipes to replace if anything goes wrong.
  17. Sorry Stone, was eagar to reply tis all. :)
  18. I bet mate, i bet it was electric. Did you see any other events. watched the high jump, discus and also the 800m. :D Is there no pole vault this time, cant say ive seen any, or hammer for that matter only the shot put. v cool with the minis though 8) I think GB doing so well is a bonus for me, as the event seems to have been such a success. Well done to all!
  19. From what ive heard if Yorkshire was entered as a country alone it would have more medals that australia - just a little fact for you there. Anyone see the remote control minis on the discus field, what are they for - cameras? Same here Goldie - crowd cheering everyone, good atmosphere in the stadium. I myself have enjoyed it, well the track and field, which is what ive only really been watching. I said i wouldnt prob watch any of it, but got into it :D
  20. Looked into it in what way? The dash can go faulty but unless he knows 100% its not the sensor on the front of the engine id be changing that.
  21. Some VRs including mine came from factory with just the straight through pipe (orange one above, but in black obv). Not sure why. I couldnt source a replacement either had to get it from the states in the end for £30! If you delete it dont you also have to delete the T shaped Pipe that sits on top of the PCV and that connects to the PCV and goes under and behind the airbox?
  22. Nice one Squirrel. Just keep an eye on it.
  23. Maybe worth replacing the bowden cables also mate.
