No i dont. I have 9s on the rear and 7.5s on the front. my arches haved not been rolled. My corrado is on about a 100mm drop, the fronts are fine and the rears only catch on the harshest of dips on the road. Don't mean to hijack the thread, but... Nikki, how have you gotten away with no scrubbage? I've got 9s on the back and 7.5 on the front with a similar drop, But my rear arches are in desperate need of rolling, I can't really carry passengers! How still have you got your suspension on the rear? Cheers Dave

Nice one....and hello! But if you do come off at the ring, chances are the armco they make you replace will cost more than what you paid for the car!! My tip is DOT 5.1 brake fliud and pagid fast road pads. Used to come off the track with my brakes on fire and pedal hitting the ground! After the mods they didn't miss a beat! -
Thanks to flusted for the flywheel, well priced and well wrapped!! :D :D :D

bcstudent, that is spooky! You just need to get another Mk2 now! :D andy 280mm is very doable, you don't necessarily need g60 hubs, 16v ones will do as well. (i'm in the middle of collecting parts for my mk2!) All you need is the hubs, discs, pads, calipers and carriers. Oh, and wheels big enough to go over your new stoppers!!!

I love them mate! I bought my Corrado after smashing up my 2nd Mk2. The Raddo was superior in every way, but i still missed the golf. So I bought one to have as a daily driver and never looked back. I did, however, loose the plot and start modifying it too!!! Sounds like you got yourself a minter! :thumbleft:

Should taking the bumper off effect the alarm???
_Monkey replied to _Monkey's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
Hi Bally It's possible, I'll check it tonight. But the alarm has gone off about 9 hours after arming twice in a row now. Usually, if the bonnet isn't shut properly, it gives off a warning beep before going mental. When I took off the bumper, I disconnected the fogs, the indicators and what looks like a temp sensor in the drivers side air duct for the brakes, could any of these effect the alarm? Mind you, I'm just clutching at straws. :? -
Hi guys, I took the front bumper off to get the stonechips taken out (if you'd ever seen the car, you know it's wayyy overdue!) on sunday, and twice now at stupid o clock in the morning, the alarm has gone nuts, repeteadly going off until I run down there and turn it off! :brickwall: It's a Toad Ai606 and until now, I've never had a problem with it! Cheers Dave

Hi mate, Can you take the "for sale" off of mine now? I'm keeping her and spending more money on her too!!! Edit: And you can stick mine up in the dragon green bit if you want

Hi mate, looking sweet! Do you know Lance from Trimsport? He's gotta blue Mk1 G60.
-
Well it was the right time of year for it to happen.

Ok, now I may sound dumber than usual... ...but what's a BMC CDA??? -
Wonder how much he'd produce on a 4wd set of rollers? What is the transmission loss between 2wd and 4wd?
-
Hmmm 600bhp, but only 2wd? Still, very well executed though, engine bay looks almost factory!
-
Cheers to yoda for the bottom end. May have to have some more bits off of you when I can afford it!
-
Well there's ALWAYS someone breaking a raddo on here, So errr, here would be the best place I guess! Get some pics up too!
-
You could always buy a bently manual!
-
No haynes manual for the Corrado, but the golf covers all the engine parts/brakes etc. Grant Motorsport is in Bristol too. Welcome to the forum by the way! :D
-
I'd like to know this, as I'm gonna get mine sprayed soon too.
-
Hello mate, Does your name refer to your driving style? If you're after brake upgrades, I think G60 calipers and carriers will bolt up straight to your hubs, cheap and if you do the brake fluid while you're at it, (I used dot 5.1) very effective too! :D
-
Not too sure about this, But I did hear that valvers have a problem with oil leaking into the dizzy, Just a thought.
-
For a minute there, I thought you were on about the chocolate bar! Your right about the less boost thing(think Hennys runs 0psi!) Really does depend on where you're taking the reading from though.

Not a standard guide as such, but if you use the search, there is a thread on here that tells you how you can put the tweeters in the std position.
-
Actually the principles are pretty spot on in that book, You just gotta look past the neons and LED washer jets!
-
You're gonna need a pretty good shoe horn to get those on! And I thought I had issues with my 9's!

I've seen wider. On a John Deere!!!!!!
