Are you running the IHI on a G60 or a 20v? If you got all those mods on a G60, you should be seeing well into the 280's The VF24 is the same as the one I have on my G60 and I'm pretty sure you can run up to 20ish PSI (think IHIG60 will confirm this). Besides, if you have a big valve head/flowed manifold, the boost will drop anyway, cos the engine is running more efficiently and using the boost up.

OMG that car is a mess! Glad he got out ok! -
Looks good mate! :thumbleft: May have to give that a go myself!

Yeah, spotted that, just can't work out what it would do. What is actually broken on your old switch, could you use the spare switch for parts to fix the original one?
-
Could one of them be out of a passat?

Good luck mate, Recon you should see a decent gain!! -
Like gaz said, I'd take them apart and give the sliders a gentle sanding and copper greasing. Yeah, think it is the pressure that pulls back the piston.

bet he wasnt much help. LMFAO!!!

Quick google search found this.

You can get lowering caps for the front suspension that are supposed to lower the front by an extra 15mm, never used them though, like gaz said I prefer to go for coilovers. Think JOM and Bonrath do them.

I've got one like the autometer one (third pic) they're pretty cool cos the glass is tinted and you can't see them till you turn on the ignition, they also go really well with the DDI gauges you can get. Think they cost about £20 too.

I just got some off of ebay for under a fiver! As long as they're VW fitment, you'll be ok. Aftermarket wheels will only make a difference if you can't get normal wheel bolts in.
-
Have you got both of the sensors plugged in on the water hose that leaves the head, the first looks VERY much like the blue one that should be connected there. (think it's water temp, so that should explain overheating)

In my last job, brand new cars came from the dealers with stuck on plates.
-
Well to be fair, I've been pulled over with them on last year, and they didn't say anything about them then. (even though they read the car reg off them!) Last weekend I was speeding a little, they were going the other way and couln't do me for that, so they found the only illegal thing on the car! I'd say, sure go for it, just be prepared to dish out £30 if you get unlucky.
-
Be careful though, I had a run in with the police at the weekend and ended up with a £30 fine! :lcop:
-
Agreed, when I bought my Jettex off of them, they were very through when I was ordering, making sure I was getting the right exhaust.
-
Tried HIC? I rang them (old fashioned i know!) but they can do me fully comp for around £450! And you get track day cover, agreed valuation, salvage retention etc!
-
 I'll shut up now!
-
Has anyone cut one of these into a rado?
-
Anyone got any pics of these with the red light on? I wanna be a PIMP too (gotta feed the rado habbit somehow!) Edit: Nevermind!
