cant remember what size alllen key it is, 6mm? anyhoo, try a same size or next size up torx head socket on it, tap it on and make sure it gets a firm seat, as your turning the ratchet apply even downward pressure and hopefully itll spin off Where are you? im sure one of the forum members would be willing to lend a hand if your stuck Nice one Gav

nope.....all M15VW's fault for letting me drive hers to work while my mk2 was er ....poorly. made me really miss mine. Deliberated long and hard about getting rid of my old vr to buy a mk2 vr. Glad i did cos ive always wanted one, just still missed the rado. Gav

yup! M15 VW and i picked up my new rado yesterday :lol: absolutely love it to be bits. Hoping and praying ill be keeping this one :roll: (think i said that about the last 3 and the mk2 vr :oops: ) Few little jobs to do to make it my own (no not break bits on it :wink: ) Got a couple of pics on my phone with the 3 raddos together yesterday will put them up once we've had brekky. lol, oh aye m15Vw's is a tad lower than the others in the pic..... a tad being the understatement of the year. Looks bloody awesome on the road epitomising exactly what a rado should, low aggressive and imtimidating. Screams get outta the bloody way im coming through when you see it in your rear view mirror! yep goes straight in. there were a few different types of sliding trim panel covers the glass. But there all a straight swap. Straightforward swap, headlinging out and swap the whole thing over Gav

can highly recommend the ak's, my other halfs got them and im really impressed, was going to get them for mine but got really good deal on highsports.Definitely doesnt feel like a so called budget kit, only time it really gets caught out is on undulating services. Gav

K, looks like ill be going with 8.5x17 on the front and 10x17 on the rear, any advice on tyre size? Fitting the coilovers next week and its going to be low, quite prepared to have the arch work necessary done, just wondering what other people are running. Cheers Gav
