Wow... They are shiney!

Im getting the front end tidied up very soon, getting rid of all the stone chips etc, and as mine is already split to the point where its hanging off, i was gonna replace it. So it looks all pretty.

Just phoned up GPC to order a front splitter (90mm) for my G60. Price on the website shows £60. They now charge £70, plus postage at £8 and Vat. So to replace a stupid bit of plastic on the front of my car is gonna cost me £90... Is there an alternative option as thats just madness...?!

I cant see any info on brakes at all on your website...
-
Could I have a heads-up please when they are on there as im very interested to find out a bit more. Cheers, Nick

PMSL! -
Thinking about doing it myself, but i would need a caliper tool. Which I dont have. Can i get one from GSF or somewhere like that?
-
Just off the phone from a local garage, and they said it would cost the best part of £150 to replace my rear discs (and pads). I did a search and found this thread ----> http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19404&highlight=rear+disc+brake These seems expensive to me, but I could be dreaming, and they didnt even mention the bearings or anything.

Thanks very much for the offer, but Birminghams about a 3 hour drive for me, and Ive also found a good price-----> http://affilate.potn.com/product_info.php?cPath=2783_3932&products_id=2602005&PHPSESSID=6a7de054ef9b982c4eff7f2d60ec6294 selbekk, that link also shows the S30 to be a better model than the S34, so yes...it is a crazy Sigma world. :?

 I have to tell someone, coz no-one at home will listen. Been getting a few quotes for bodywork, and I stumbled across this site. I phoned up with a list of local garages they've got reccomended, and gave them my details, and what I wanted doing. TBH i didnt expect anything to happen! But about 20 minutes later I had a phonecall from a person who works in the call-centre for the website. "hello, im phoning from (the name eludes me), you'll never believe this, but i drive a corrado too, a black VR6" Bonus! :D So after a bit of a chat, he gives me his number and tells me hes quite handy with a corrado (so is his dad) and if i ever want a part, mainly VR6 to give him a call. Or if i want anything doing, either he'll help me out himself, or help me find a good garage etc. He also mentioned that he was on the corrado owners club...? I thought it might be worth a shot in the Dark to see if this was the place? Anybody called Andy who drives a VR6 this rings a bell with?! Nick Also, another garage has already rung back, so the sites alot better than I expected!

Almost certainly getting a Sigma S34 alarm fitted. Is this a wise choice? Ive heard of the S30, and this seems to be a good alarm, but just a little too much. (im tight  ) and i assume this is just a model lower. Other than that my other options a Clifford, despite their reputation in general, i havent heard any glowing experiences about Clifford from anybody! Nick

I need my front passenger wing, and a small scratch on the p/s door re-sprayed due to the wing being a replacement and not the right colour. Any ideas what this might cost to have done? Its Tornado Red, and im in the south-west if anyone ca reccommend anything.

-
TURN OFF YOUR FOG LIGHTS!! Looking very tidy. 8)
-
It doesnt, but if you flip it up, theres a large gap just as bad.  1: No 2: 10 minutes late for work - no. 30 mins late - yes.

I was just out for a drive at lunch, and caught the tail-end of a rado, so i tried to follow it through some very narrow roads, and saw it just pulling up in Shepton Mallet, by the old prison. I pulled up next to the fairly tidy light grey (ice violet or something?!) rado, stuck up my thumb and pointed to his car, and drove off laughing. He must have thought i was mad.

Ooo..Also, ive just been to a garage and been told i need to replace my rear brake disc, but the mechanic told me that its one big section, attached to the handbrake release or something along those lines. Is this true? I assumed you could just unbolt the pad and swap on a new one.
-
STORM 2, where are you to in Dorset? When you say you got brembo disc and pad kit for £220, did you get it stupidly cheap, or just the discs and no calipers?
-
Im looking to upgrade my brakes, to some drilled and grooved options, but have no idea whats any good, and also where i can get them from?! Any reccomendations? And before its said, i cant afford Brembos
