I dont know anything about them, and although im not intending on buying one, id like to know a bit more. Where can you get em from? How much? What do they do compared to a standard charger, and (for example) a tweaked one from G-werks? Cheers. Nick

Be careful with that. You get what you pay for. :?

Havent you just answered you own question...?! :D No-one on here can predict what will happen to either car. With your brief description, sounds like a low mileage example might be better. But does that one have history? Whats the bodywork and interior like on both? Do you know how much it will cost do chains/belts etc?

Dont mess around do ya! Good work

The best package for you. You may get problems with which ever one you go for. Corrado engines go on for miles, there are people on here with 150+ im sure.

corrado vr6 vs astra gte 16v vs calibra turbo
Nick replied to spike16vgte's topic in General Car Chat
Where abouts, as so do i!! Mines not a VR6, its a G60, but i can take you for a drive. You just need to use your imagination to think "its like this, only faster." -
That shut me up. lol. Not wanting to digress from corrado's too much! Can i have some more info on the 3 hour 50p a ticket gigs?!

corrado vr6 vs astra gte 16v vs calibra turbo
Nick replied to spike16vgte's topic in General Car Chat
This is a question, not a comment. :?: Would a calibra turbo beat a VR6 in a race? :?: One of the reasons i like my corrado is 'exclusivity'. This might be slightly vain, but i dont care. They're alot less common than calibras. Far nicer looks wise. You can strap a charger on the side. The BMC CDA, is just a good quality carbon air filter, that doesnt make your car sound like a saxo with a 9" exhaust. Its quiet as a standard airbox around town, and people will know your coming when you give it some. -
A couple of tasty motors with £££!! number plates by the looks of things! Lovin the rascal...

AWESOME!! My mate has a bright yellow one, with chipmunk stickers on the back and a big ol' bull bar (currently for sale) Last week i picked my car up from a local garage, and there was a kawasaki green rascal, with the back lopped off, (assuming) a kawasaki motorbike engine strapped to the back with sports manifold, and exhaust etc. Sounded like death. Welcome, and buy a G60.

PMSL!!!

Afternoon. I really need to give my G60 some love this weekend in the form of a service. I was wondering where the best place is to buy the 'consumables'. Fuel filter, oil filter, plugs etc Straight from the stealers, or somewhere like GSF?

I literally used a hair-drier, wd40, a rag and elbow grease. Took a couple hours, but i think it looks all the better for it. *edit - ooo..and i didnt take ANY paint off*

My favourite car... i hate you. Although looking at the pictures, looks like you did a very good job.

Is the spec in PVW too? It 'looks' amazing, but i'd really like to read an up-to-date spec. (if you dont mind?!)

Furkz, just a thought, but i read that pieces of their equipment were left behind? Most thieves wont leave anything behind unless they are disturbed. Perhaps one of the other garage owners disturbed them, might be worth asking around.

Need opinion on new wheels to fit to my aqua blue pearl rado

Hunter gunmetal, hands down. -
I was shown this back in febs(?) issue of Golf+ (i think). I can remember thinking "i dont like bodykits, but i like this" Never worked out why, but still love it. What kit is it out of interest? Why do you want to go back to 16's? Especially if you've got to change your expensive brakes too. (admittidely id have 16's over 17's but if you've already got them...) :)

Is there anything this man cant do...?! How much for a 1.8T conversion? All parts supplied? (However I am down in Somerset!)
