  1. WD40 has been tried! thought they would be decent as i cant see darren selling something that isnt!!! feeling like i should be up and about for the weekend!
  2. I have TSW alloys on the car, with a 74mm centre bolt holding the centre cover on. Problem - centre bolt will not undo, tyre needs changing and MOT due this month!!!! have broken the plastic tool that came with the car, several tyre places have tried with no joy, am curently looking at having to get them chiselled off it has been suggested trying a metal version of the tool, but i cant find one for love nor money, if anyone has one and could bring it to stealth on sunday it would be ace!!! if they do need chisseling, how do i go about this without damaging the wheels more than they are? or is anyone willing to do it for me?? also, my back end is bouncing around like crazy! am assuming its the suspesion gone, does anyone have any experience with the Weitec Hicon GT coilovers being sold by G-Werks? or any opinions welcome, but bearing in mind budget really cant go over £550. Cheers Andy
  3. assuming its all wired in right then its really just a case of checking all connections and the fuse.
  4. i had the same problem not too long ago. make sure all connections and the fuse on the uprated loom are ok and connected and seated ok. Not sure off the top mf my head which fuse the main beams are, but if you take the fuse box cover off there is a list of the fuses!
  5. saw 2 this eve, both green!! one was broken down on the juntion to get on the A3 Southbounf in Guildford (if it was you then you'll know where!) hooted and made sure the guy was ok before slowly moving off in traffic second was a 16v at the marriott lights in portsmouth.

  9. Is there much left?[/quote:30fdd] not really, engine, gearbox, steering, front bumper, from N/S wing, entire loom, sunroof, badges, wheels, doors all gone. Carpet and most trim still around but didnt look in too good a state tbh and had lots of parts/rubbish all over it.. front lights smashed, most of rear lights intact but the n/s rear cluster has been broken. looks like it had a rear ender as the bumper was badly damaged. spoiler mech still looked intact though!! and a few body panels that were pretty straight.
  10. saw a dark green M Plate rado in Silverlake breakers yard (in fact took the front wing off it!!) assume it used to be either a VR or a G60 has the engine and gearbox had been taken out! was a sad sight indeed.

  14. 1 could of been me if tiwas about 7:30 around waterlooville! saw a dark C heading South, didnt have time to flash/wave!

I take it that it was you I saw parked outside the shops in White Hart Lane when I left about 5pm then?? Also caught sight of a black C with Porsche brakes/hubs, a Storm Grey on Speedlines and a dark green Storm all at Autotechnik yesterday morning... it felt like an un-manned club meeting! nope wasnt me! theres a burgundy 16v around about though, so it could of been them! see loads around now, and i thought they were rare!!
  16. spotted this C down White Hart Lane in Porcehster, was gonna take a couple more pics but i think the 2 young ladies you can see in the pic thought i was a a tad odd an taking photos of them! EDIT: oops pic now attached!

  21. im thinking maybe get 2 Veyrons, one for a daily drive, and with the other put the inards into the C, cant be too difficult! well, not with that sort of cash!
  22. got the same pic on my pc somewhere, was gonna get a sticker made up, not wirth the hassle now!
  23. saw 2 L plate burgundy 16v's today at the marriot traffic lights about 40 mins apart, one heading towards portsmouth and one heading away! both gave waves!
  24. Cheers, just been PM's that picture, mighty useful! i assume majiks uses 2 relays so it does the main beam too, may well do it while im at it! ive just popped to halfrauds (yes i know..) and they have either 17amp or 27amp cable. the 17amp says its ok for high performance headlights, and the 27amp suggest use for battery charging, id assume the 17 would be ok, and if i do it so the uprated bit isnt permanant (use spade connectors as majik does) should it fail i can just unplug it. oh and the 'light duty cable' would 8amp be ok or should i stick with something a bity less 'light duty'? Now where to get the relay??
  25. dont worry, not another 'where do i get one' thread!! Thought id give making one a go as per the knowledge base, but wanted to ask a couple of questions before doing it! The knowledge base says to use 1 relay (the looms made by majik[\b] use two) and jus wanted to know what difference it makes. to make sure i understand the instrcutions (if it turns out i dont i wont be attempting and will wait for majik[\b]!) the process is: cut positive feed to passenger side headlight connect loom to relay connect realy to passenger headlight cut positive ro driver headlight conect relay to driver headlight conect realy to battery BUT the instrcutions say to tape the cut wire on the passenger side back into the loom not connect it to anywhere, this is right yeah? also, where would be the best place to get the parts required and does anyone know roughly how much i will need of each? is the 'light duty' cable necessary or could i just use more 20amp cable? i know your all probabaly worried that im completely incompetent and shouldnt be doing this myself! but honestly im not, i just would rather ask the stupid questions before i start!
