grey L reg C down burfields road, had just come off the roundabout at the business park entrance, did flash lights but no response :-( -
AFAIK you can just get the intellistart module without a full system. To me the cost of the petrol to run it for 10 mins Vs scraping windows and getting into a cold car is worth it!

sorry about the late reply!! ive got to admit im not sure if theres any power increase, but ther first time i drove it after changing them it i could feel a difference when i pulled away, and throttle does seem sharper. would deffinatly recommend them! perhaps not at retail price though...

ive got the tomtom Go300 and its brilliant, i do lots of driving to random places so they dont have a postcode, find it on the satnav press yess and it will take me there! halfrauds have an offer on it at the mo too 'down' to £299 i think! with some of the cheaper ones they apparantly arnt as accurate as they dont use the whole postcode. Ok guys, when i bought my C i got given a box of parts, some of the contents i know what they are but some have got me puzzled, if anyone can identify any of them it would be appreciatied! my guess is that they are parts for the supercharger but im no mechanic!

Probably been done, but whats the worst bit of a C to clean?
Dub_nut_g60 replied to Yandards's topic in General Car Chat
gotta agree, i go mad everytime i clean my wheels properly!!! so fiddly and time consuming (and you ALWAYS miss a bit) -
my dads Meriva (which incidentaly wont move till january as he cant drive!) gets that pleasure!
-
a snow covered C!
-
shucks, ya noticed!!
-
i know what you mean, i quite liked the look when they went on in the first place, but now im thinking it looks way too wimpy for the C, needs thicker lettering i think! cue some carbon domed lettering me thinks!

saw a dark blue (i think) C heading out of portsmouth on M275 both looked, didnt wave though, did have time! -
tis a down side, doens mean using fuel doing nothing! Insurance comapny are fine with it, it was all installed by an approved dealer and system still has its Thatcham1 catagory, it has a kill switch on the brake pedal so if someone were to manage to get ina drive off 1. steering lock will interfere and as soon as they touch the brake the engine cuts out! personnaly i think it would be better on the clutch but hey ho! ive never ehard of that as an offence though! hmmm.... may have to investgate!

Thought id share with you guys the benefits of the remote start kit from clifford! Yes know its another gimmick from clifford, but car is still locked and alarm still set while engine is running! Twas a fantastic thing this morning, dunno bout the rest of you but i cant be doing with deicing/scraping all the windows so i can see! so i just started her up from inside the house, let her run for 10 mins and fully defrosted + oil temp was getting up to a sensible temp so i could take full advantage of the cold air on the way to work!! Using it in public is a tad sad, sometimes its quite fun when someones getting out a car thats parked next to you! but cold mornings was my main reason for getting it fitted and by jove it works a treat!
